NieR Reincarnation Breaks the Mark of 5 Million Downloads

NieR Reincarnation, the recently released mobile game situated in the NieR Universe, broke the insane mark of 5 million downloads in Japan alone.

Developer Applibot and publisher Square Enix made the announcement on the game’s official Twiter profile. Check out the post below:

NieR Reincarnation was released last February 18, exclusively on Japan, for iOS and Android devices, as one of the projects celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Nier franchise.

The game features heavy names in its productions, like Nier Replicant 1.22… concept artist Kazuma Koda, and Nier: Automata’s main character designer Akihiko Yoshida. Plans to release the game in western regions were confirmed before, but no expected date was announced.

”A girl wakes up on a cold stone floor. A vast space with rows of towering structures.
Guided by a mysterious creature that calls itself “Mama,” the girl begins to walk atop the stone pavement. To reclaim what she lost, and to atone for her sins.

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… will be released on April 22 in Japan, and on April 23 worldwide, for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, via backward compatibility, and PC, via Steam.
