The release date of Guilty Gear -Strive- is coming closer and closer, and Arc System Works revealed, during the 2nd Annual Japan Fighting Game Publishers Roundtable, a new character focussed trailer for the title, this time revealing the time-traveling musician I-no as its 15th playable character available at launch day.

Check out the trailer, revealed during the event, where we can see her new look and play style. The character will be voiced by Kikuko Inoue.

I-no looks like a character that specializes in controlling the battlefield and countering its adversary’s advances with punishing moves.

Guilty Gear -Strive- will reach the market next March 9th for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Check out the game’s official synopsis below:

“Guilty Gear -Strive-“ is the latest entry in the critically acclaimed Guilty Gear fighting game franchise. Created by Daisuke Ishiwatari and developed by Arc System Works, “Guilty Gear -Strive-“ upholds the series’ reputation for a high octane soundtrack, groundbreaking hybrid 2D/3D cell-shaded graphics, and intense, rewarding gameplay.

Head into the final confrontation with That Man, the person responsible for all the destruction and damage to the world and its inhabitants. Join Sol Badguy, his rival Ky Kiske, and a total starting roster of 15 unique characters as they face the astonishing conclusion to a story 20 years in the making!”

Just a reminder that you can take part right now in the title’s free open beta test, available for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 until February 23rd, where you can test 13 of its characters in battle.
