A new job posting straight from Rockstar’s career website is making fans think it could be a sign for some legitimate Grand Theft Auto 6 news.

The job listing is for a Cinematic Gameplay Capture Artist. For this position, there are many roles that they will be taking on within Rockstar, and will be a part of a “range of projects”.

In this position, the Cinematic Gameplay Capture Artist will be responsible for “shooting in-game footage for use in online and TV campaigns” and will use “internal video capture tools to shoot both cinematic and gameplay footage in a virtual 3D game environment”.

The posting also states that the Gameplay Capture team will work with video editing and trailer teams to “produce outstanding videos using exclusively in-game shots”, which could imply an upcoming trailer to be made for a new Rockstar game.

This certainly points to Rockstar focusing on creating trailers for some upcoming games, but it does not necessarily say that it will be a position working on GTA 6. Fan speculation believes that there is a good chance that it could point to some real GTA 6 updates though, considering there have been a lot of rumors floating around about Rockstar working on GTA 6 recently.

While a vast majority of GTA 6 rumors should be taken with a grain of salt, it is possible that this job posting could include Grand Theft Auto 6 and working on its trailers if the rumors of a 2022 or 2023 release are true.

The job listing also mentions that the candidate should be familiar with the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X platforms, which many are tieing to GTA 6, as the game is suspected to be released on the next-gen consoles.
