According to a recent blog post on the PlayStation blog, Sony will be giving fans 10 free games to download, starting March 25. The games announced include many popular indie games, but the most surprising reveal was that of Horizon Zero Dawn.

While you will have to wait a little bit longer to receive your free copy of Horizon Zero Dawn, you can pick up quite a few indie games soon that include:

  • Abzu
  • Enter the Gungeon
  • Rez Infinite
  • Subnautica
  • The Witness
  • Astro Bot Rescue Mission
  • Moss
  • Thumper
  • Paper Beast

Of the games mentioned, a few are available on PS VR, including Astro Bot Rescue Mission, Moss, Thumper, and Paper Beast.

These 9 games will be available to everyone from March 25 until April 22, so you will have almost a full month to pick up these games before they are gone.

These new games come after Sony announced the Play at Home program last month, which “aims to provide the PlayStation community with free games and entertainment offers to make the next few months a little more fun”.

The program introduced its first reveal earlier this month with the 2016 Ratchet & Clank being available to the PlayStation community for free, which is also still available up until March 31, 2021.

Finally, the biggest reveal of all was the mention of Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition being offered for free in the Play at Home program as well. The unfortunate news, though, is that you will have to wait longer than the other games, as it will be available starting on April 19 until May 14. Instead of waiting for a week, you will have to be patient and wait a month for Horizon Zero Dawn to arrive.

So far, the PlayStation Play at Home program has had some solid games being offered and is especially welcome in this time of uncertainty. It will be exciting to see what games they announce next.
