Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is now a free-to-play game almost two years after its initial release, and it’s also officially available on more platforms as you can now yeet on Xbox One, Series X|S and Epic Games Store.

The Free for All update also brings some quality of life changes to the game, such as a bigger and better Battle Pass, new shows, new mechanics, crossplay items for the in-game store, and many others.

Fall Guys is now Free-to-play

During its release back in 2020, the game developed by Mediatonic was quite popular, being one of the most played games for PS4 at the time of its release. And it was no surprise, as it’s incredibly funny to watch silly beans pushing each other for victory.

The game is similar to a battle royale, but instead of killing each other with weapons, you need to finish the show, which could be a basketball game, a resistance test or a simple race. Sometimes the final show will feature a fight for the crown.

But as happens often with the flavor of month games, it quickly fell in popularity. But the game was still receiving updates and crossovers skins with many games, such as Among Us, Bomberman, and Cuphead. It was just not as popular as it was in release.

But it was still good enough to originate some free-to-play clones, such as Stumble Guys. While those have their own charm in them, it’s undeniable that people would most likely prefer to play the original. And that’s why the game’s being prepared for new and returning players.

The new Battle Pass has 100 levels. Everyone gets access to the first 50, but players who previously had the game will receive the other 50 for free. There’s also a new auto-grab mechanic for ledges for new players.

Crossplay is also finally available for all platforms, as well as all the new shows. It’s very likely that you may find some bugs as it has just been released, so be aware and fall with caution.

Fall Guys is now available for free on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/Y, Steam, and Epic Games Store.
