Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2 announced that Trunks past, or the Z warriors alternative future, will be the main stage for the third DLC of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, ”Trunks: The Warrior of Hope”.

Check out the new chapter’s trailer below:

Trunks’ history was first told in the side-story ”Trunks The History – The Lone Warrior”, a special chapter first released in 1992. After that, the story was adapted in a generation-defining animated special, ”Dragon Ball Z: The History of Trunks”, released in 1993, which is, until this day, one of the best ever made. I am getting goosebumps just writing about it.

”Trunks: The Warrior of Hope” will be the third DLC to come to Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, after the release of its first 2 episodes, which featured the two first arcs of the Dragon Ball Super anime and manga.
