Diablo Immortal just hit 30 million downloads worldwide, mini and major updates also in the works

Released on June 2, 2022, Diablo Immortal recently hit 30 million total global installs. Blizzard Entertainment continues to invest in the franchise with plans of mini and significant upcoming updates.

Diablo Immortal also promises its adventurers mini updates, including new content like their Battle Pass season, feature updates, and more in-game events.

There are also plans for storyline expansions and new gameplay expansions for their Major Updates. The developers also have more content updates in the works as their player base continues to expand.

Season Three Battle Pass: Aspect of Justice

The batch updates did come with a price. There has been server maintenance starting August 2, from 5:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m. PDT (Oceania, China, East Asia, and Southeast Asia Servers) and August 3, from 1:00 a.m.–3:00 a.m. PDT (Americas and European Servers). After the updates, new items are set to be live for the players. More items will be available in the succeeding days.

The update also includes bug fixes previously obtained by the developers from their online forums and other online communities. According to the developers, players should expect a wave of updates every two weeks, pushing for more content, including the new season’s Battle Pass.

The season three battle pass will introduce the players to their path to becoming an Aspect of Justice by destroying demons from the Wrathborne Invasion Daily Event. Players can also expect their much-anticipated introduction to the improvements in the Warband system.

Season Three of the free-to-play game will start on August 4 at 3:00 a.m. Grabbing the perks of the Aspect of Justice Battle Pass will give the players access to 40 ranks worth of challenges and rewards. This includes exclusive Legendary Gems and other items.

The game plans to push for 2 paid upgrades of the Battle Pass: the Empowered Battle Pass and Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass.

The Empowered Battle Pass includes the Aspect of Justice Armor cosmetic (unlocked at rank 40) and the Aspect of Justice Weapon cosmetic. The Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass includes the Aspect of Justice Avatar Frame, Portal cosmetic, and a ten-rank boost.

The Season Three Battle Pass is expected to run until September 1, at 2:59 a.m..
