CD Projekt Red recently released version 1.3 of their latest game, Cyberpunk 2077 datamine indicates multiplayer modes and that the game could be getting at least two expansions.

Cyberpunk’s latest version (1.3) made more than 40GB of changes to the game on PC.

Here is what we know the Cyberpunk 2077 datamine.

A YouTuber, Tyler McVicker, analysed the update’s game files. He said that version 1.3 has made extensive changes to Cyberpunk 2077 and the game’s engine.

More importantly, he found multiplayer and expansion references in his analysis.

These references point to build states for multiplayer gyms and various tests.

The files also include at least two expansions. As well as suggestions to ‘’old’’ multiplayer modes, which could link to the initial plans for a standalone Cyberpunk online game.

Indeed, part of Cyberpunks strategy was to release a triple-A game centred around Cyberpunk online.

However, an update in March from joint CEO Adam Kiciski mentioned that the plan for the standalone game was being reconsidered.

In a recent video Adam Kiciski said “Given our new more systematic and agile approach, instead of primarily focusing on one big online experience or game, we are focusing on bringing online into all of our franchises one day”.

The idea would be to bring multiplayer features to many of their popular titles including Cyberpunk 2077.

However, CD Projekt made it clear that they would be approaching this plan in stages.

This is not the first Cyberpunk 2077 datamine to suggest multiplayer modes.

Heists and deathmatches were both spotted in the executable files back in January.

As we know Cyberpunk had many faults on release thus halting a lot of CD Projekt Red’s post-release plans.

The game finally received its first DLC with the release of version 1.3.

That’s all we know about the latest Cyberpunk 2077 datamine. Nonetheless, you can always find more gaming news here.
