To say that Genshin Impact is an enjoyable game is an understatement. With over 50 million downloads just on Android alone, the game’s number of players continue to grow since its release in 2020. However, admit it or not, sometimes you get frustrated with the world of Teyvat.

Maybe you’re not getting enough pity from the Pity System or just need a break from its tiring puzzles. Oh, how you wish that Aether and Lumine could just travel to a different world again! Well, maybe you need to go on vacation sometime.

In this article, we have made a list of different games you can try without necessarily leaving the feels you learned to love in Genshin Impact.

Honkai Impact 3rd

Also developed and published by miHoYo, Honkai Impact 3 is probably the most similar game to Genshin Impact. Even its name has “Impact” in it!

With its anime art style, the game is notable for incorporating a variety of genres. You’ll have hack and slash, social simulation, shoot ’em up, and dungeon crawling. It’s available for multiplayer modes, too!

And will we ever forget about wishes? Just like Genshin Impact, it also has gacha mechanics.

Tower of Fantasy

An upcoming action-RPG title developed by Unreal Engine 4, Tower of Fantasy has been compared to Genshin Impact a lot in terms of visuals and overall gameplay.

Well, we can’t really blame anyone for comparing it to Genshin Impact. Looking at the image below, it certainly does look like a claymore-wielding Cryo playable character doing her Elemental Burst.

Platforms: Android, iOS, PC

Tales of Arise

A heavily story-driven RPG from Bandai Namco, Tales of Arise features a skill system somehow reminiscent to talents in Genshin Impact. You can also easily switch between characters in battle and take advantage of elemental skills.

Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom

Developed by Level-5, Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom looks like a world made by Studio Ghibli. And it kind of is because the first Ni No Kuni game was developed in partnership with Studio Ghibli.

Just like Genshin Impact, combat takes place in real time. You can also have party members and a higgledy (Pokemon-like creature) of your choice to join the battle. Defeated enemies reward guilders, experience points, and items.

The Alchemist Code

Although designed as a turn-based tactical role-playing game like Final Fantasy Tactics, Fire Emblem, and Tactics Ogre (Ah, the memories!), The Alchemist Code also has an anime art style and gacha mechanics similar to Genshin Impact

Perhaps the most interesting feature of this game is that it allows you to play against your friends. Yup, you read that right. You can fight against your friends and get awesome rewards.

If Teyvat is a little too hard on you, go on a vacation and visit these other different worlds. We’re sure you’ll love them. But we’re also sure you’ll feel a little homesick for Teyvat.

Don’t worry. You can always go back anytime!
