Tower of Fantasy: How to collect crystals

Tower of Fantasy has a variety of resources that the Wanderer will need. One of them is crystals.

Specifically used for advancing your equipment, crystals are vital for increasing your stats and improving your survivability in the vibrant yet dangerous planet of Aida. These ores may be common, but looking at their purpose, you might consider stocking up on many of them.

It is also important to note that these ores are NOT similar to Dark Crystals, an in-game currency.

Here’s how you can collect crystals in Tower of Fantasy

There are three ways for you to collect crystals in the game. These are via stowed equipment, from the vendor in Banges, and from clusters of elemental crystal ores.

If you’re wondering what the game means by collecting crystals via stowed equipment, this is when you open chests and get a chance to obtain the ore. As for the vendor in Banges, his name is Claude.

However, if you would like to collect these ores yourself, you should first locate clusters of elemental crystal ores commonly found near cliffs and mountains in the overworld. These clusters come in different elements; depending on their color, you can tell which elements they represent.

In order to collect crystals from these clusters, you need to strike them with attacks of the same element. For example, you can attack red clusters using the Composite Bow, an R-tier fire-based weapon, to break them.

However, if you still don’t have a weapon that corresponds to the element of the cluster, you can look for elemental cores nearby and hit them with it. For example, you can pick up a nearby Flame Core to break red clusters.

After breaking the clusters, they should drop some crystals and/or elemental ores that are needed to ascend your weapons to higher level caps.
