Resident Evil 8, or VILLAGE as its officially called, is the next entry in the Resident Evil series and will continue the story of Ethan and Mia as they end up in a castle this time.

But will the next entry in the RE series be on Steam?

Is Resident Evil 8 On Steam?

Steam is the most popular launcher for PC games, who’s “daily active users hit 62.6 million, peak concurrent users hit 24.8 million. Steam saw 31.3 billion hours of playtime in 2020.” So, it is understandable a lot of publishers want their game on the platform.

It has been confirmed that Resident Evil 8 will be available on PC via Steam when it launches later this year.

Release Date and Platforms

It was revealed that Resident Evil 8 will be available worldwide on May 7th 2021. It was also confirmed that the game will be coming to the last gen consoles, the PS4 and Xbox One. Capcom previously cancelled these versions due to hardware limitations.
