Pokemon Go: Surskit Spotlight Hour March 2021

Pokemon Go holds a number of regular events, one of which is spotlight hours, and this upcoming one is the Surskit Spotlight Hour.

Although Surskit doesn’t have their shiny available yet, the event will still provide plenty of chances to stock on Surskit Candy and includes a useful additional bonus.

When is the Spotlight Hour?

The Surskit spotlight hour will be taking place on the 23rd of March at 6:00 PM local time and will last until 7:00 PM local time.

This is standard fare for spotlight hours, and shouldn’t surprise anyone who’s attended any of these events before.

What can we expect?

Like other spotlight hours, the Surskit spotlight hour will be pretty simple. For the duration of the event, you’ll be seeing a hell of a lot of Surskit.

It’ll make for a great hour if you’re a big fan of the Pokemon Surskit, or have a specific reason for trying to catch them.

And even if you’re not particularly keen, spotlight hours always throw in another bonus alongside the increased spawn rate for the selected pokemon, and this hour will be no different.

For the duration of the spotlight hour, any pokemon captured will award doubled catch experience.

Does the event have anything else?

Unlike some previous spotlight hours, the focus of this event – Surskit – does not currently have their shiny variant released to be caught in Pokemon Go.

Without the shiny being available, that means this spotlight hour is effectively just about catching Surskit if you want it or otherwise just taking advantage of that enhanced capture experience while it lasts to grind out some exp.
