Genshin Impact Theater Mechanicus Guide: Whither the Wind Wends

Whither the Wind Wends is the first challenge of Theater Mechanicus in Genshin Impact 2.6. 

In this guide, we will discuss the stage features, recommended comp, recommended sticks, tips, and rewards.

Whither the Wind Wends Stage Features 

Show of Force 

– You can obtain Veneficus Points when defeating opponents by dropping them. 

Enter the Horde 

– You can obtain a huge number of Veneficus Points when defeating opponents by dropping them. 

– Increases opponents’ HP, decreases initial Veneficus Points and increases the number of points you can use to select sticks. 

Recommended Comp 

To maximize damage from the Mechanici, a Freeze team is ideal, but any crowd control team will also make this an easy challenge. 

Recommended Sticks

You can use different sticks depending on your strategy, but below are must-haves for this stage’s feature that allows you to obtain Veneficus Points by dropping opponents to death: 

Mystic Stick: Falling card  

– This reduces the shutdown CD of Adeptus bridges by 12s. 

Mystic Stick: Continuation card 

– When defeating opponents by dropping them, the Veneficus Points obtained is increased by 100%. 

Whither the Wind Wends Tips 

Below are some things you may want to consider to ace this challenge: 

  • Place the bulk of the Mechanici at the lower level. 
  • Stay at the top and always keep an eye out for the enemies’ locations. 
  • Shut down the Adeptus Bridges to drop large enemies or during emergencies. 
  • Since you yourself can’t inflict damage on enemies in this mini-game, focus on crowd control.
