Genshin Impact ‘Static Views’ Guide: How to proceed to the location shown in the painting and complete the world quest

Static Views is a world quest in Genshin Impact that takes place in Sumeru. This quest is accessible after interacting with the Mysterious Mailbox in Vanarana.

One of the quest’s objectives is for you to “proceed to the location shown in the painting.” However, when you try to use the game’s navigation, it will not show you where you need to go. Instead, it will only tell you to check the painting out.

How to complete the Static Views world quest in Genshin Impact

The Static Views world quest can only be unlocked if you have already finished The World of Aranara.

STEP 1: To start with Static Views, go to the Mysterious Mailbox in Vanarana with an exclamation point above it. Note that the image below was taken after interacting with the mailbox, so there is currently no exclamation point.

STEP 2: After interacting with the mailbox, the game will tell you to “proceed to the location shown in the painting.” To do this, you only need to go to the Statue of the Seven in Vanarana and “dig” on the right side. In case you’re wondering, this “painting” can be found in the Aranyaka that you previously received (Inventory > Quest > Aranyaka > Mysterious Clipboard 1).

STEP 3: The game will tell you that there is no treasure at this point. So, go to the Silapna in Vanarana and play Rhythm of the Great Dream using the Vintage Lyre. If you are not equipping this gadget, go to Inventory > Gadget > Vintage Lyre > Equip.

STEP 4: After playing Rhythm of the Great Dream, go back to the Statue of the Seven and dig on the same spot. You should be able to find a Common Chest this time!

STEP 5: Interact with the Mysterious Mailbox from Step 1 to complete the quest.
