Genshin Impact: How to Unlock The Chasm

Following the Genshin Impact 2.6 update, HoYoverse not only added an exciting new character but also a new area in the world of Teyvat for adventurers to explore. This area is called The Chasm and it’s located west of Lisha, Liyue. 

The Chasm is primarily a mining district; however, all mining work has been halted because of the dangers and incidents in the area. It is also said that this is where Azdhaha and Morax fought, but as to whom they fought against, it has not been revealed yet.

While we know where it is on the map, how do we unlock and get access to The Chasm? 

First, it’s important to note that in order to explore The Chasm, your Adventure Rank should be 28 or above. Also, you should already have completed Chapter 1: Act 3: A New Star Approaches Archon Quest. 

Now, you will need to complete the Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering World Quest, and below are the steps to do it. 

  1. From the waypoint near Qingxu Pool in The Chasm, head south and look for NPC Muning near a tent. 
  1. Talk to him. He will give you a note. 
  1. Go to the location marked on the map and look for the adventurer Zhiqiong. Talk to her. 
  1. Go to the miner’s warehouse and beat the treasure hoarders. You will obtain Lumenstone Adjuvant.

  1. Go back to Zhiqiong and talk to her. She will ask you to destroy the Bedrock Keys. 
  1. Destroy the Bedrock Keys and talk to Zhiqiong again. She will ask you to look for the final Bedrock Key. 
  1. Go to the marked location inside a cave and destroy the final Bedrock Key. 
  1. There will be a cutscene and you will follow Zhiqiong to the camp to talk to Muning. Then, the Surreptitious Seven-Star Seal Sundering world quest is complete. 

The Chasm is now unlocked, and adventure awaits!
