Genshin Impact GeForce Rewards: Players not happy with rewards

With the recent collaboration between HoYoverse and NVIDIA, Travelers will be rewarded with key items via GeForce Experience that will, as NVIDIA says, “help you in your adventures.” 

However, while freebies are usually given a warm welcome, especially for a game as commercially successful as Genshin Impact, Travelers all over Teyvat are not impressed.

In fact, NVIDIA GeForce’s announcement has been responded to with disappointed tweets. One user even said: 

I’m usually not one to explain about rewards but these are ****. I can literally get more than this from the battle pass and daily commissions like :/ 

Another user said: 

For those who dont Know what they are offering is Basically nothing..

So, just what are the rewards you can get via GeForce Experience that triggered an entire community?

Genshin Impact GeForce Rewards 

In an announcement, NVIDIA said: 

To assist you in your upcoming adventures, 20,000 Mora will help you buy new items, the four Mystic Enhancement Ores will help you enhance your weapons, and two Hero’s Wit will provide EXP for leveling up your characters. 

Yup, that’s all: 

  • Mora x20,000 
  • Mystic Enhancement Ore x4 
  • Hero’s Wit x2 

And no, you don’t get any precious Primogems from this collaboration that you can actually obtain even from the most common of chests.

Moreover, with a lot of Mora and Hero’s Wit that you can obtain from Ley Line Challenges and Mystic Enhancement Ores that can easily be forged, this limited-time event is indeed a little disappointing compared to the more recent ones like Journey with a Gentle Breeze.

However, these are still free, and NVIDIA says that opting into GeForce Rewards will prepare your account for future freebies. Does this mean that they still have so much in store for us? 

So, if you’re interested, you may use the GeForce Experience application to claim the giveaways. 

How to Claim Rewards 

Below are the steps to claim the rewards. Don’t worry, GeForce Experience is a free application. 

  1. If you don’t have an NVIDIA account, create one by clicking here. 
  1. Once registered, make sure that you opt into GeForce Rewards by clicking here. 
  1. Log in to the GeForce Experience app. If you don’t have it yet, download it here. 
  1. If you’re using a GeForce GTX 10 Series, GeForce GTX 16 Series, or GeForce RTX desktop, GPU or laptop, you’ll receive a GeForce Reward notification on the top right corner of the app. Click it and follow the steps to redeem your complimentary Genshin Impact GeForce Bundle. 

NVIDIA also invites Travelers to set a reminder in their calendars as the number of bundles is finite. 

So, what do you think of the rewards? Are they worth it? 

Again, this might just be the beginning of the many rewards NVIDIA will be giving away. But for now, they definitely gave us a bad impression.
