Genshin Impact 2.0 (1.7) Leaks: Possible Release Date of the 2.0 Livestream Revealed

New leaks regarding the upcoming version 2.0 (1.7) of Genshin Impact continue to surface, this time, featuring the possible release date for its Special Livestream.

The leaks, which according to Reddit user u/MidnightSai, came from an e-mail sent to and made public by the streamer fobm4ster, reveals that the game’s upcoming Special Program will take place in a week’s time, on July 9th, at 5 am PST, and will be available exclusively on Twitch, with a Youtube version of the program going live 4 hours later.

Also according to the possible leak, the stream will be an hour long.

On 7/9/21 at 5am PST Genshin Impact will release their 2.0 update reveal video (which is an hour long!) exclusively on Twitch. We will be the only platform showing this live (it will go live on YouTube 4 hours later) and they would like to ask our creaters who play Genshin to hold watch parties or co-stream the reveal with their commentary and reactions

You have been identified as a Genshin player and have been selected by the developer to take part in this event if you choose to participate. I know the timing is a bit rough and might not meet your streaming schedule but I wanted to reach out with this opportunity regardless
If you are interested please let me know so I can notify the dev that you plan to stream. They have agreed to retweet some of the chosen channels “going live” Tweets to help drive viewership (this is not guaranteed, but a possibility). To be considered for this, would need to know ASAP if you plan to participate

You can take part in Genshin Impact’s version 1.6 right now, which features the character banner of Kaedehara Kazuha, as well as his featured weapon banner, a new Arcon quest, and much more. 

Genshin Impact is currently available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, mobile devices – Android and iOS – and for PC, via miHoYo’s official launcher and, since June 9th, in the Epic Games Store. A version of the game for the Nintendo Switch is also reportedly in development.
