Genshin Impact 1.4 Update: Everything Revealed in Today’s Special Program

Today, the highly anticipated Special Program, showcasing the new Genshin Impact 1.4 update, showing players all the new features that will come to the game after the update, and much more.
Here’s everything that was revealed during today’s Special Program:
“Invitation of Windblume”
First of all, check out below the official trailer for the new update, with will launch globally on March 17.
The update will present players with new main history chapters, new enemies, weapons, and much more!
- If you pay close attention, you can see a glimpse of your long last sibling on the trailer, in a scene that seems to take place after the new Abyss Herald boss fight.
The Anemo Archon is Back
The program confirmed the leaks that said that Venti would return as the feature character in the first banner of Version 1.4, but no one could expect that Childe would also get a rerun on its second confirmed banner.
Rosaria Confirmed
As you could see in the images above, Rosaria was finally confirmed. She will be a Cryo polearm user able to give your team a Crit Rate Boost with her Elemental Burst and to enable various cryo-related reactions.

New Weapons
The new update will also bring a few new weapons to the game, with the announcement of the 5-star bow, Elegy for the End, the new Allie series of weapons, and the new Windblume Ode bow.
The Windblume Festival is Here
The main stage of the new Version 1.4 “Invitation of Windblume”, will be, as its name suggests, Mondstadt’s annual Windblume Festival.
By completing the mini-games present in the event, players will be able to get two gadgets, which include a new lyre, that can be used to play music with friends.
- Completing the mini-games will give players the opportunity to get the Windblume Ode, and refine the weapon to its max level.

The update will also bring two new events, Wishful Drops, and Contending Tides.
On Wishful Drops, travelers will have the opportunity to get a new traveling pet, as they help him gather enough elemental energy.
On the Contending Tides event, on the other hand, players will have to take place in brutal battles in a new arena, with promises to take them to their limit.
- New challenges with 3 different levels of difficulty will be available for Contending Tides daily.
Hangout Events
It was also revealed, that after the new update, players will be able to unlock Hangout Events with many characters, in this case, with Barbara, Noelle, Bennett, and Chongyun, where their choices will impact result in multiple endings.
But be calm, because you will be able to play the events as many times as you like, unlocking even more endings and rewards connected to many characters.
More characters will invite you on outings on later updates, and the events will be available permanently in the game.
The Abyss Herald
On the Special Program, it was also revealed that a new chapter featuring Dainsleif will be available as part of the main story.
On it, players will have to face the fearsome Abyss Herald, in a battle that will change their lives forever.

New and Exciting Features
A few new features were also announced:
- The amount of Condensed Resin will be now be increased to 5.
- Player’s name cards will now be available and showcased on their profiles.
- Player’s will now be able to change their world levels.
- Player’s will now be able to restart Abyss Floors mid-battle and check their teams between floors, as well as the elemental resonance of their teams beforehand.
