Guild Esports have signed TaySon, the European Fortnite No. 1, to bolster their growing Fortnite roster.

David Beckham’s brand-new Esports organisation, Guild Esports, have announced that they have just signed Slovenian Fortnite pro player Tai ‘TaySon’ Starcic.

TaySon is currently the back-to-back Fortnite Champion Series, FNCs, trio and solo championships. What makes this all the more impressive is that TaySon is just 16 years old!

As of writing, he has won well over $200,000 from over 25 Fortnite Events. That’s a lot of cash!

Also, there’s a strange mystic woman confirming the announcement! Beckham certainly knows how to draw the eye…

TaySon x Guild Esports Is Just The Latest Step

TaySon will join Nikolaj ‘Flikk’ Froslev, Henrik ‘Hen’ Mclean, and Anas ‘Anas’ El-abd as a member of Guild Esports’ Fortnite roster.

Hen and Anas both played together, and won, in the January Cash Cup trio Tournament.

The first event TaySon will compete for Guild Esports for is the upcoming FNCS Season Qualifiers on February 5th.

Here’s a quote on the move from Grant Rosseau, Guild Esports’ Director of Esports:

2020 was a landmark year for Guild Esports and Fortnite, with our talented roster dominating the competition to make us the current number 1 FN team in the EU. Signing TaySon shows that we have no plans to slow down in 2021 – we’re ready to take things to another level and cement our position as the Fortnite team to beat. We’re the squad to watch out for this year, and we’re ready for our rivals to try to catch us.

We have already made an explosive entrance into the Fortnite scene, quickly rising to become the team-to-watch in 2021, and with TaySon’s signing we have a talent mix to be reckoned with. Guild isn’t treating our recent gains with complacency, and we’re ready to dominate FNCS.

And the accompanying statement from TaySon:

I’m really proud of how far I’ve come and to be ranked as the number one player in Europe – now I’m ready to take the next step with Guild. I’m determined to make myself into an even better player with the help and support of my new team, and bring home trophies for Guild. You’ll be seeing us take over the league tables again soon, so you better keep watching!

Do you think that Tayson can go three-for-three with Guild Esports?
