Fortnite Spend Bars Guide – Week 15 Challenges

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 is just a week from ending, with Season 6 right around the corner, with the Zero Crisis Finale event announced earlier this week.

But before it ends, there is still one week worth of challenges still to complete to get the last few levels for the Battle Pass.

Here is how to complete Spend Bars from the Week 15 challenges.

Spend Bars

Gold Bars are a new mechanic in Chapter 2 Season 5, giving players the chance to purchase items, weapons, including the new Exotic rarity weapons.

They can be found in chests, by breaking furniture, completing challenges and bounties from NPCs and by eliminating players.

Also a new feature of Season 5 is NPCs, these are characters that are dotted around the map.

These grant Gold Bars for completing challenges, as well as sell Exotic weapons, regular weapons, upgrade weapons amongst other things.

To complete this, players need to spend 500 Bars by buying weapons and items from NPCs.

Release Date

Fortnite challenges go live every Thursday at 9am EST/2pm GMT, so expect the week 15 challenges to go live on March 11th at 9am EST/2pm GMT.

Week 15 Epic Quests

The challenges this week are:

  • Distance travelled through sand (500)
  • Spend 5 seconds within 20 meters of enemies while sand tunnelling (5)
  • Spend Bars (500)
  • Purchase Item from a Character (1)
  • Upgrade a weapon (1)
  • Get Intel from a Character (1)
  • Hire a Character (1)

Each Epic Quest is worth 40,000 XP, granting 280,000 XP in total, around 3 levels worth of XP.

Week 15 Legendary Quest

The Legendary Quest this week is:

  • Duel Characters (5/10/15/20/25)

The first stage of the challenge is worth 55,000 XP, the following 4 are worth 22,000 XP each, giving a total of 143,000 XP for completing the Legendary Quest.

But be fast, Legendary Quests are only around until the next set of challenges go live and then they are gone forever.
