Fortnite: Season 6 Exotic and Mythic item locations

Season 6 of Fortnite has been a strange one for sure. While it may not feel like much has been happening on the island after the season started but the island is always changing. One thing that has changed this season is the availability and changing of Exotic and Mythic items and weapons in Fortnite Season 6.

From pretty early on in this season we got to see Raptor eggs grow and hatch, Raz transform or get replicated by the Fortnite Spire events happening, different bows have come to the island since the start of the season as well as Mythic and Exotic weapons and items.

New Exotic Bows and other Exotic items

There are a few new bows that have been added to the game from Rebirth Raven and Lara Croft. As well as the bows there are several other Mythic and Exotic items that can be found throughout the island.

Personally, I love when they add items like this into the game mostly for the fact that if someone truly wants to use an item like this, they are going to have to sacrifice an inventory slot for it, instead of healing items or a damaging weapon.

Lara Croft’s bow is the Grapple Bow and while it doesn’t do any damage, it will successfully launch you to the destination you point the arrow at. Lara Croft can be found selling this bow at Stealthy Stronghold.

Possibly the coolest new bow added recently is Rebirth Raven’s Unstable Bow. Raven’s Unstable Bow has quite the unstable quality, giving players a different Rare bow with with every shot. The bow will shoot either a flame arrow, a stink arrow, explosive arrow, or shockwave arrow.

Rebirth Raven can be found selling this strange, versatile bow between Sweaty Sands and Coral Castle.

Another Exotic item that can be found, but is not a weapon, is the Chug Cannon that will help you heal yourself or your teammates health or shield, whatever is needed. The Chug Cannon comes from Slurp Jonesy and he can be found at Slurpy Swamp.

Hop Rock Dualies, which give you a movement boost after each shot to help you maneuver enemies, are dual-wielded pistols that can be purchased from Gutbomb at Logjam Woodworks.

Another Exotic pistol that can be found is the Shadow Tracker Pistol, which can be purchased from Power Chord at Dance Club Cabin. This interesting pistol has the ability to track players for the squad that are hit with its shot.

Finally for Exotic weapons, the Dub Shotgun, will propel you backwards and give you quite the advantage over your opponent.

Mythic items and weapons found in Fortnite Season 6

As of right now there may only be 2 Mythic items on the Fortnite island for Season 6 but they are definitely game changing. One of them requires quite a bit of work but it is worth it, should you wish to replace one of your items slots with this non-weapon item: Spire Jump Boots.

Spire Jump Boots are quite the interesting item to be added to the game. There was no official announcement or challenge to do this so a good amount of players may still be unaware that they exist. In order to get these boots a player must first eliminate a Spire Guardian and then carry the the Orb they drop and carry it to The Spire.

Once it is brought to The Spire you will need to deposit it in one of glowing holes seen in the trunk of The Spire as you’re climbing it. However be aware that you will need to hold this Orb with both hands so you cannot perform any other actions except running and jumping until your drop the Orb.

An upside to holding this item is you get an anti-gravity jump similar to what the Hop Rock Dualies and Hop Fish give you.

Finally, the only current Mythic weapon is the Raz’s Explosive Bow which can only be acquired from eliminating the Glyph Master Raz at The Spire itself.

While Mythic items are new to Fortnite, Exotic weapons and items are not so to see them still adding new weapon rarities is pretty cool to still see Fortnite evolving in different ways.
