Fortnite: How to register for Dreamhack Open for April 2021

Competitive Fortnite is exciting to watch, as well as play, giving players the chance to test out their skills against other top players for a chance to win their share of prize pools which often top millions of dollars.

Dreamhack ft Fortnite is currently hosting monthly open tournaments throughout 2021, each with a $250,000 prize pool.

Here is how to register and take part.

How To Register For Dreamhack Open

Dreamhack ft Fortnite recently announced their next tournaments, with Cash Cup Extra taking place on April 15th, 21st, and May 12th.

While the Dreamhack Open Duos tournament will take place between April 16th-18th.

All of these tournaments will only be available in the NA-East and EU regions.

To enter into any of these tournaments, follow these simple steps.

  • Log in to the game on your preferred platform
  • Head to the Compete tab while in the Battle Royale lobby menu
  • Select the Dreamhack Open event
  • And you are in and ready to compete!

Week 5 Epic Quests

Here are the Week 5 Epic Quests.

The challenges this week are:

  • Deal damage with SMGs (1000)
  • Search ammo boxes (5)
  • Use a campfire (1)
  • Modify vehicles with off-road tires (3)
  • Drive from Sweaty Sands to Colossal Crops without leaving the vehicle (1)
  • Maintain a speed of 65 or greater for 4 seconds in a vehicle (1)
  • Get 2 seconds of airtime in a vehicle (2)

Each Epic Quest is worth 24,000 XP, granting 168,000 XP in total, around 2 levels worth of XP.

Week 5 Legendary Quests

Here are the Week 5 Legendary Quests.

The Legendary Quest this week is:

  • Collect bars (1000/2000/3000/4000/5000)

The first stage of the challenge is worth 35,000 XP, the following 4 are worth 24,500 XP each, giving a total of 140,000 XP for completing the Legendary Quest.

But be fast, Legendary Quests are only around until the next set of challenges go live and then they are gone forever.

Season 6 is currently scheduled to last until June 8th, which means we can expect around 12 weeks of challenges before the season is over.

However, with the Fortnite X Batman comic series beginning in April, and the fact it directly ties into Season 6, the season may be extended until July 2021.
