Every time a new raid drops, you can expect Bungie to drop some brand new swag for people to wear after conquering the raid in the first week. Starting with Last Wish, Bungie has made a relatively new tradition of obliging people who’ve struggled with the new raid to immortalize their victory with an expensive piece of merchandise.

But that’s the nature of geekdom. We go out of our way to buy expensive representations of the things we love. The Destiny fandom is no different. There’s been no shortage of stuff to buy if you’re into the Destiny universe; lorebooks, comics, and clothes are plentiful in the Bungie store. So as has become tradition, there are new raid rewards in Destiny 2 for completing the Vault of Glass.

Are you gonna buy them? Well, the question should actually be: How much do you hate having money in your bank account?

The Vault of Drip opens

Let’s start with the more sought-after reward: the Raid Jacket. Raid Jackets have come a long way since the first one released for Last Wish. I remember the original raid jacket being basic black with a logo and a red tag with the raid name printed on it. You could even get your gamer handle printed on the jacket at no extra cost! Since then, Bungie has made strides in creating more visually interesting jackets.

This time, we’re getting something slick for the Vault of Glass, as the design screams pseudo-futuristic fashion statement with its slick dark color and Vex pattern on the inside and sleeves. It honestly is my favorite raid jacket so far, as it seems like something that could’ve been bought at any boutique if all the Destiny branding was removed. Upon closer inspection, you can see that the patch where your gamer handle can be printed seems to be removable.

In the event that you’re too embarrassed to rock your gamer tag while on a hot date, this seems like the best of both worlds (if it’s removable that is).

The price isn’t as much as last year’s raid jacket, as the Vault of Glass jacket will only cost you $149.99 after using the code. Not super cheap, but goddamn does that jacket look really slick.

You couldn’t get your gamer fit all sorted out without some accessories to wear alongside your killer jacket. In addition to the raid jacket, there will also be a pin and ring available for purchase. The pin, modeled after the in-game Fatebreaker Seal, is a nice gold color and would definitely look great on your new Raid Jacket.

But why should you stop at the pin when you can also don a slick-looking Vex ring that has the words, “Guardians Make Their Own Fate,” emblazoned on the band? Yeah, the raid ring for Vault of Glass looks like the Relic that you use for certain raid mechanics. It’s really apt that this would be made into a ring.

I’d get into more detail, but there are lore spoilers that would probably get me in trouble if I spilled them this early before the release. Not with Bungie, mind you, but with VoG faithful that want the youngins to experience the raid spoiler-free.

The ring’s gonna be a pretty penny at about $129.99 and the pin is gonna be $24.99; know that if you’re ordering both the ring and jacket, the website says to make two separate orders to avoid any cart errors.

Cleanse those wallets of cash

If you’re a Destiny 2 fan, you’ve probably already decided that you want these raid rewards from a world that only exists in our hearts. The jacket is really slick and the raid ring would look nice in its case alongside any other gamer stuff you own. The pin is great if you like collecting them, just make sure you have the cash to drop for it ($24.99 for a pin, sheesh).

Keep in mind that you only have a week to earn the codes for both the jacket and the ring, as afterward, you won’t be able to order them. Once the first week of the raid release is over, those items will be lost to time (har har) and you’ll have to feel jealous that your clanmate is getting their stuff in six or so months.

Stay classy Guardians. Let that drip flow.
