Is Genshin Impact on Steam? See Where You Can Play The Game!

Genshin Impact is, without any shadow of a doubt, one of the biggest titles to hit the market in recent years, having, since its release on September 28 of 2020, not only broken many records around the world, but also marked its presence in many ceremonies across the gaming world, being selected by Apple as “iPhone Game of the Year”, by Google as Google Play’s “Best Game of 2020”, winning the award for “Game of the Year” at the annual TapTap Game Awards in 2020, as well as figuring between the finalists in the ”Best RPG” and ”Best Mobile Game” categories on last year’s The Game Awards, and in the category ‘Ultimate Game of the Year” on last year’s Golden Joystick Awards. But on which platforms can you play the game, and is Genshin Impact on Steam?

The game is currently available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, via backward compatibility, mobile devices, and PC, but unfortunately for many fans, just as with its developer’s other success Honkai Impact 3rd, released in 2016, Genshin Impact is not available on Steam, and it can only be played on PC through the miHoYo official launcher. There is also no news about the release of a version for the Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S, but a version of the game for the Nintendo Switch is reportedly in development as we speak.

You and your sibling traveled to Teyvat from another world. Separated on arrival, and now stranded here, you set about searching for answers from The Seven — the gods of each element.

Joined by Paimon, a kind-hearted sprite guide, your mission takes you through beautiful forests, bustling towns and treacherous dungeons. And while your journey may put you into the path of merciless foes and fiendish puzzles you can count on over 30 playable allies to join your custom party of four, harnessing the power of the elements to overcome all obstacles.

Along the way, you will freely explore this wondrous world, join forces with a diverse range of characters, and unravel the countless mysteries that Teyvat holds.

Even if Genshin Impact isn’t on Steam, now is the perfect time to jump in the game, since its newest big event ”All that Glitters” is currently underway, giving players the opportunity to get lots of free Primogems, more than 10 free wishes, a free 4-star character, new weapons, items, mora, and much more. But work fast, since the event is already halfway through.
