The Fortnite GatherAndCraft code unlocks the Cheat Master Bush Sprite in Chapter 7 Season 4, but unlike most Lobby Hack codes, it cannot simply be entered as soon as you load into Fortnite. You first need to progress through Wrixel’s Get Crafty Story quests before the Fortnite GatherAndCraft code becomes available.
The code itself is:
GatherAndCraft
Once the required quest progress is complete, enter it through the Admin Panel in the Fortnite lobby to claim the Cheat Master Bush Sprite.
How to Use the Fortnite GatherAndCraft Code
The Fortnite GatherAndCraft code is entered through the same Lobby Hack Admin Panel used for the other Chapter 7 Season 4 codes.
From the Fortnite lobby, open the …/ Admin Panel button in the top-right corner and enter GatherAndCraft into the code field.
The difference is that this particular code is tied to Wrixel’s Get Crafty storyline. Entering it before reaching the required stage will not unlock the reward.
The final part of the quest specifically asks you to enter GatherAndCraft into the Cheat Code Input System in the Front End, which is Fortnite’s lobby Admin Panel.
Once accepted, the Lobby Hack Activated screen should appear and allow you to claim the reward.
What Does the GatherAndCraft Code Give You?
The Fortnite GatherAndCraft code rewards the Cheat Master Bush Sprite.
This is the Cheat Master version of the Bush Sprite introduced during Chapter 7 Season 4. The reward is listed as Special Level 1 when first unlocked.
If you already have the Cheat Master Bush Sprite in your collection, the code can instead award 10,000 Sprite Dust rather than giving you a duplicate Sprite.
That means the code is still useful even if you obtained the Sprite through another player during a match before completing the quest.
What Quest Do You Need for GatherAndCraft?
You need to progress through Wrixel (Ziggy): Get Crafty before the Fortnite GatherAndCraft code can be redeemed.
The Get Crafty storyline sends you through a series of crafting-related objectives connected to Wrixel and his anvil. The in-match stages include gathering the required materials, using Wrixel’s Crafting Table, obtaining a coconut and eventually building the anvil at Pixel Polys.
After completing those stages, the storyline moves to the lobby objective:
Enter “GatherAndCraft” into the Cheat Code Input System in the Front End.
At that point, return to the lobby and use the Admin Panel.
Some guides describe this as reaching stage 9 of the wider Wrixel quest progression, while the Get Crafty storyline itself is shown as five main in-match stages followed by the Lobby Hack objective. The important part is that the code will not work until the Get Crafty quest has progressed to the point where Fortnite asks you to enter it.
Why Is the Fortnite GatherAndCraft Code Not Working?
There are two separate reasons the Fortnite GatherAndCraft code may not work.
The first is simply quest progression. If Fortnite has not yet given you the objective to enter GatherAndCraft in the lobby, the Lobby Hack may show as unavailable. Complete the Get Crafty objectives first and then try the code again.
There is also a confirmed bug affecting this quest.
Epic Games says it is investigating an issue where the GatherAndCraft objective may fail to progress correctly after players enter the code. This can leave the Wrixel quest progress showing 8/9 completed even after all of the quests have been finished.
Epic has confirmed that the issue is due to be fixed in a future game update.
Players have also reported cases where the Admin Panel initially said the hack was unavailable before accepting it after Fortnite was restarted, although that is a player-reported workaround rather than an official fix.
Why Is Wrixel Get Crafty Stuck at 8/9?
The 8/9 Wrixel quest bug is a known Fortnite issue.
Epic specifically acknowledges that the quest asking players to enter GatherAndCraft may not register correctly. As a result, the progress bar can remain stuck at 8/9 despite the player completing the required objectives and entering the code.
The same issue can also prevent players from receiving the Ziggy Style connected to completing Wrixel’s Get Crafty Story quests.
This is not an additional hidden objective. Epic has identified it as a bug.
How to Check if You Got the Cheat Master Bush Sprite
After successfully using the Fortnite GatherAndCraft code, open the Override section and check your Sprite collection.
The Cheat Master Bush Sprite should appear there once it has been claimed.
If you already owned the Sprite, check your Sprite Dust total instead. The duplicate reward is 10,000 Sprite Dust.
The code is redeemed entirely from the lobby once the quest requirement has been reached. You do not need to enter a Battle Royale match to type the code itself.
Fortnite GatherAndCraft Code Explained
The Fortnite GatherAndCraft code is GatherAndCraft, and it unlocks the Cheat Master Bush Sprite during Chapter 7 Season 4.
Unlike most Admin Panel codes, GatherAndCraft is linked directly to Wrixel’s Get Crafty Story quests. Complete the quest until Fortnite tells you to enter the code in the Front End, return to the lobby, open the Admin Panel and submit GatherAndCraft.
If the quest remains stuck at 8/9 afterward, Epic has already confirmed that this is a known issue rather than another missing requirement.
