FNCS Solos Round 1 is the opening stage for eligible players who do not use the automatic Power Ranking route into Round 2.
The first qualifier begins September 28 and 29, while the second qualifier repeats the two-day Round 1 format on October 5 and 6. FNCS Solos Round 1 is part of Epic’s standalone 2026 Battle Royale Solos tournament that begins immediately after the Global Championship.
FNCS Solos Round 1 Dates and Session Length
Each Round 1 day lasts approximately three hours and allows a maximum of 11 matches. Matches only count if they begin before the session window closes.
Qualifier 1 uses September 28 and 29. Qualifier 2 uses October 5 and 6. Europe currently lists the first sessions at 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
How FNCS Solos Round 1 Cumulative Scoring Works
Day 1 and Day 2 are not separate qualification attempts. Epic adds the points from both sessions together to create one cumulative Round 1 leaderboard.
Placement uses the Solos scoring table and each elimination in Round 1 is worth two points.
FNCS Solos Round 1 Advancement Cutoffs
Europe advances the top 8,000 cumulative players. NAC advances the top 4,000. OCE, Asia, Middle East, Brazil and NAW each advance the top 2,000.
The cutoff is applied after Day 2, so a weak opening day can still be recovered if the combined total finishes inside the regional threshold.
| Region | Advance to Round 2 |
|---|---|
| EU | Top 8,000 |
| NAC | Top 4,000 |
| OCE / Asia / ME / BR / NAW | Top 2,000 |
What Happens After FNCS Solos Round 1
Players who advance enter Round 2, a single three-hour session with up to 11 matches. The top 1,000 players in every region then move into Round 3.
Players who do not advance can still become relevant later for the LCQ only if they satisfy the LCQ participation rules and have not already reached a later protected stage.
Players should use the live Compete tab as the final operational source for FNCS Solos Round 1 session times. Epic’s rules describe the tournament structure, while the event tile reflects region-specific start times and any late scheduling changes.
MFA is required and players must meet Epic’s minimum age requirement. The event is cross-platform, but every competitor plays the same Battle Royale Solos ruleset regardless of whether they use PC, console or an eligible mobile platform.
Another important detail for FNCS Solos Round 1 is the one-region rule. Once a player participates in a Qualifier Round 1 or Round 2 session in a region, Epic locks that account to the same region for the remaining Solos stages.
The qualifier format is deliberately cumulative in Round 1: Day 1 and Day 2 points are added together. Later stages use their own session leaderboard, so advancing once does not carry old points into the next round.
For FNCS Solos Round 1, missing the queue cutoff can matter as much as raw points. Epic states that only matches beginning before the session window closes count, and fixed-lobby stages can treat a missed scheduled match as a last-place finish with zero eliminations.
