Dress to Impress Dark King Chapter 3 is the final fight against Nestra, the Flesh Incarnate, in Tales of the Dark King. You fight with a bow and arrows, avoid magical projectiles and jump when the floor begins glowing. Beating Nestra is not quite the final objective: you then carry a vase back to the boat, following the lanterns towards the docks.
Keep your avatar at a distance where you can see both Nestra and the ground beneath you. That gives you room to dodge incoming magic and spot the glowing-floor warning before it hits. Shoot between attacks rather than standing in one place trying to finish the fight as quickly as possible.
How to reach Dress to Impress Dark King Chapter 3
Enter Tales of the Dark King through the event teleport menu, speak to Lana and follow the path to Styx to choose a solo or group run. Chapter 1 takes place on the river: carry soul fuel to the lantern, prevent evil souls from climbing aboard and collect the glowing orbs when the boat stops. After three rounds and a short on-foot section, you reach the mansion chapter.
Chapter 2 involves collecting three golden medallions, opening the entrance beneath the courtyard statue, finding keys in the underground tunnels and keeping a flashlight trained on the moving statues. Finally, the Moria Sisters’ cure asks you to collect dolls, brew ingredients and deposit them in braziers. When the Flesh Incarnate emerges, escape the building to move into Dress to Impress Dark King Chapter 3.
How to beat Nestra in Dress to Impress Dark King Chapter 3
During the final encounter, use the bow and arrows provided by the chapter. Aim towards Nestra whenever you have space to stand safely and fire repeatedly to reduce her health. Do not close the distance just to get a shot in. The boss’s magical attacks are easier to read from farther away, and rushing forward puts you directly in danger.
Watch the floor beneath your avatar. When an area begins glowing, jump to avoid the attack that follows. Move away from incoming magic blasts aimed towards your character, then return your attention to firing arrows. This combination of shooting between attacks and jumping on the glowing-floor cue is the central strategy for Dress to Impress Dark King Chapter 3.
If arrows aren’t connecting, stop firing for a moment and re-centre the camera on Nestra. Move to clear ground, then aim again once you’ve dodged the next attack. The objective is to reduce the boss’s health while surviving; there is no separate switch, code or weapon pickup in the middle of the fight.

A reliable win comes from reacting to what appears on screen rather than trying to memorise a fixed number of arrows or a precise attack schedule. The game does not need you to solve another mansion code during this battle.
Solo versus playing in a group
In solo play, you handle every attack and all the aiming yourself. Try to keep Nestra in view while positioning the camera so you can still see the floor warning under your feet. Fire after dodging instead of letting tunnel vision draw your attention away from the ground.
In co-op, players can spread out enough that they are not all standing in the same attack area. Each player still needs to watch for the glow and magic projectiles. Communicating that an attack is starting can help when somebody is focused on landing arrows. For Dress to Impress Dark King Chapter 3, staying alive long enough to keep firing is more valuable than a few rushed shots.
What to do after beating Nestra
When Nestra falls, the game gives you a vase to transport. Pick it up and follow the lanterns scattered along the ground downhill towards the dock. Carry it back to the boat to finish the quest. This part is easy to overlook if you expect the boss’s defeat animation to immediately end everything.
Dress to Impress Dark King Chapter 3 ends when the vase reaches the boat. Follow the lantern trail rather than heading back to the mansion or searching the arena for another exit. If the completion screen does not appear, check that you’re still carrying the vase and walk to the boat’s interaction point.
Why can’t I finish Dress to Impress Dark King Chapter 3?
If Nestra keeps hitting you, watch the ground and focus on jumping when it glows. Staying within melee distance also makes the fight harder, so back off and attack from a safer position. If an arrow appears to hit without progressing, change your angle and try again during the next opening rather than standing still.
If you defeated Nestra but the quest still shows unfinished, look for the vase and follow the lantern trail to the boat. A party member finishing a fight does not automatically tell you whether your own final transport objective has resolved. Recheck your screen before abandoning the instance.
