Dragon Adventures Dysuva is a returning bat-inspired Halloween dragon, and the 2026 Week 2 update gives players a new way to unlock it in Lantern Eggs. Sonar Studios says defeating elite Halloween mobs offers a chance to unlock Dysuva or the Headless cosmetic trait.
That isn’t the same as getting a Dysuva egg immediately. The Halloween 2026 Lantern Egg starts with only Skelltor in its possible species, and event activities add other dragons and traits to that list. Once Dysuva is unlocked, you still need to hatch a Lantern Egg for a chance to obtain it.
How to get Dragon Adventures Dysuva in Halloween 2026
The new developer-confirmed route is to defeat elite Halloween mobs during Week 2. These stronger variants are scheduled to appear around the Halloween map. A successful defeat can unlock Dysuva in your personal Lantern Egg hatch pool.
The word ‘can’ matters. The announcement does not promise Dysuva from every elite kill or provide a set number of enemies to defeat. If you complete an eligible fight and the egg panel still shows Dysuva locked, another attempt may be necessary.
Start by visiting the Halloween World around Spooky Castle, then look for the stronger enemy variants when the new update becomes active. The developer hasn’t given an exact guaranteed coordinate for any elite spawn.
What is Dragon Adventures Dysuva?
Dysuva is a bat-like dragon that first appeared in the game’s Halloween celebrations in 2020. It has a distinctive set of wings, prominent ears and a broad, nocturnal look, making it one of the more recognisable returning seasonal dragons.
Community reference material lists Dysuva as a medium-sized rare dragon and records several different older Halloween egg sources. Those historical entries explain why returning players remember the species, but they don’t establish every 2026 egg location or drop percentage.
The specific new acquisition information for Dragon Adventures Dysuva comes from Sonar Studios’ October 21 update plan: an elite-mob unlock for the Lantern Egg.

How elite Halloween mobs work
The studio says powerful elite variants will begin spawning around the Halloween map during Week 2. These are described separately from the ordinary mobs that defend the Balefire Crystal. Don’t assume every standard enemy you fight automatically qualifies for Dysuva’s new unlock chance.
Bring a dragon you’re comfortable using in combat and explore the active Halloween World. The update note does not publish exact elite health totals, attack patterns or respawn times, so an old boss guide shouldn’t be treated as a complete route to every new enemy.
If your primary goal is Dragon Adventures Dysuva, check the Lantern Egg objective before and after fights. That is how you’ll know whether your efforts have added the species to your egg’s possible results.
How to hatch Dysuva after the unlock
The 2026 Lantern Egg uses a build-your-own pool: it begins with Skelltor and gains species, elements and cosmetic traits as you complete specified activities. An unlock does not guarantee the next hatch, because the egg still selects among its available possibilities.
After the Dysuva reward becomes available in your Lantern Egg panel, collect or use Lantern Eggs and hatch them normally. If you continue getting Skelltor or another unlocked dragon, that doesn’t necessarily mean the Dysuva unlock has failed. It may simply not have been selected yet.
Our Dragon Adventures Halloween 2026 guide explains the wider seasonal activities and why owning an egg is separate from unlocking everything it can contain.
Dragon Adventures Dysuva versus Nisekabe and Beastimoor
Dysuva is a returning Halloween species, whereas Beastimoor and Nisekabe are the two new dragons highlighted in the game’s 2026 event description. That helps explain why their routes differ.
Beastimoor is a Week 1 hatch target, with Possessed Egg results reported by players. Nisekabe receives three Week 2 methods: Balefire Eggs, a Balefire Storm Lantern Egg unlock, and a Merge Lab combination of five Beastimoors plus one Dratheros.
Dragon Adventures Dysuva is instead specifically named as a chance-based unlock from elite enemies. Farming Balefire Shards for Nisekabe doesn’t automatically fulfil an elite-mob requirement, even though both activities take place in the same event world.

Does Dysuva have a guaranteed 2026 hatch rate?
Sonar Studios hasn’t published a complete 2026 percentage chart for Dysuva after it is unlocked in the Lantern Egg. Historical wiki pages list rates from Spooky, Haunted and other event eggs, but those belong to earlier systems.
Because the Lantern Egg pool expands as you complete activities, borrowing one of those older percentages would be misleading. Check your current game’s available results and any rate information shown there. If you need Dysuva for your collection, plan for repeated hatches rather than expecting one guaranteed outcome.
A player who has unlocked Dragon Adventures Dysuva has made genuine progress even if their next egg hatches another species. The unlock is eligibility, not a direct dragon reward.
Dragon Adventures Dysuva not unlocking
First confirm that Week 2 is available in your server and that you’re defeating elite enemies rather than ordinary Halloween mobs. The event announcement lists the powerful elite variants as the relevant source.
Second, remember the unlock is chance-based. It could take multiple eligible fights. Third, reopen the Lantern Egg quest panel and check whether Dysuva’s state has changed. If the game explicitly says the unlock completed but the slot remains locked, save a screenshot and contact support.
The developer has not announced a guaranteed number of elite kills or a universal fix for a genuinely stuck quest.
