Disney Dreamlight Valley Dubloon Tokens: How to Earn and Spend Them

Disney Dreamlight Valley Dubloon Tokens are the currency you earn in the Seafaring Star Path. The 25 regular duties pay 350 Dubloons between them, and the first week’s three Routine Duties add another 30. You can spend those tokens on rewards ranging from an Aqua Mermaid Backpack to the Premium Lieutenant Monkey companion.

There isn’t an endlessly repeatable fishing or gathering method to generate Dubloons. They come from completing the tasks shown in Events, Seafaring Star Path and claiming their rewards. If you begin late, don’t panic: Gameloft says previously unlocked weekly routines remain available during the event.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Dubloon Tokens: how many can you earn?

Finish every standard task and you’ll have earned 350 tokens. With the first three weekly routines, that’s 380 Dubloons from currently confirmed duties as of 27 October. The 1,100-Moonstone Premium pack includes an additional 50 tokens at purchase, but that is a paid starting bonus. Other weekly routine sets will release through November, so 380 isn’t the final possible event total.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Dubloon Tokens: free versus Premium

The free path gives you three duties at a time to earn Disney Dreamlight Valley Dubloon Tokens. Finish one, claim its Dubloons in the Event menu and another task will appear. Pay 700 Moonstones to unlock six visible duties and Premium prize tiles, or 1,100 Moonstones for those features plus 50 tokens. You don’t have to buy either version to complete the regular tasks or earn the free rewards.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Dubloon Tokens: quick early tasks

The opening Disney Dreamlight Valley Dubloon Tokens duties are straightforward: catch ten fish for ten tokens, pet an equipped animal companion five times for five, mine five gems for five, make five purchases in Scrooge’s store for ten, or feed Seaweed to a turtle for ten. Petting the same companion five times works. Always collect the completed duty reward so the next task can appear.

Combine the Dazzle Beach duties

If several fishing duties are available at once, head to Dazzle Beach to catch ordinary fish, Seaweed and gold-ripple fish in one trip. Cast outside ripples for the Seaweed task, and stay at Dazzle Beach because Seaweed caught in another biome may not count. Keep one Seaweed aside for the Sea Turtle. The 10-fish and 15-fish beach tasks are different steps in the 25-task list.

Scallop collection with an animal companion

One later task asks a companion to pick up 25 Scallops. Bring along a pet capable of gathering fishing-related items, such as a fox, and give it a chance to collect the shellfish on Dazzle Beach before you run over them yourself. Simply collecting 25 Scallops by hand won’t meet this companion-specific objective. If the counter doesn’t move, try naturally spawned Scallops and check which companion you have equipped.

Sell seafood and cook ten Tuna Burgers

The regular duties include selling 100 seafood and week one has a separate 50-seafood routine. Both earn Disney Dreamlight Valley Dubloon Tokens. Collect qualifying shellfish such as Scallops, Clams and Oysters, then sell them at Goofy’s Stall. Test a small sale first, because not every fish counts as seafood. For ten Tuna Burgers, prepare ten each of Tuna, Onion, Lemon, Wheat and any vegetable. Cook ten separate five-star burgers. Those three weekly routines also unlock the free Coral Crown.

Work around Peter Pan, Ariel and Eric

The disguised character clues are Peter Pan for the boy who never grows up, Ariel for the dinglehopper collector and youngest of seven sisters, and Prince Eric for the seafaring prince. Ariel must be in human form for her hangout duty. Eric has a three-favourite-gift task that may require several days, plus a separate 30-minute hangout. If you haven’t unlocked one of them, make progress on other open tasks first.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Dubloon Tokens: what to buy first

For 60 tokens, the Aqua Mermaid Backpack is available on the free path. Other free tiles include two 10-token motifs and 100 Moonstones for 30 tokens. Premium offers the Lieutenant Monkey for 100 Dubloons and the Opulent Pirate Hat for 80. Once you’ve claimed four of six prizes on the first page, page two opens with Mermaid Ear Jewelry, Scarlet Gothic Chair, another motif and 150 Moonstones. Don’t use your first 100 tokens on motifs if the monkey is your priority.

Can you farm more after the 25 duties?

No. Each main duty pays once. Weekly routines add finite extra tasks, not a permanent farming loop. After collecting the regular Disney Dreamlight Valley Dubloon Tokens rewards, you can use the bonus page to trade ten Dubloon Tokens for 90 Moonstones repeatedly while your earned balance lasts. Those bonus Moonstones are not an automatic refund of the Premium purchase; the reward page must first be unlocked.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Dubloon Tokens: weekly reset dates

The next weekly Routine Duties are set for 28 October, 4 November, 11 November, 18 November and 25 November. Gameloft’s published routine schedule is Wednesday at 1 PM UTC, which is 1 PM GMT in the UK after the clocks change. Earlier routines remain available: free-track players do them in order, while Premium players can tackle released sets in any order. Gameloft advertises the event through 2 December, so claim your rewards before it closes.

Fix duties that are not progressing

If you’re not receiving Disney Dreamlight Valley Dubloon Tokens, open the Duties tab and make sure you have claimed completed tasks. Seaweed caught outside Dazzle Beach may not count, seafood needs to be sold rather than just gathered, and DreamSnaps needs a submitted entry. The Haunting Elegance Star Path runs alongside Seafaring but uses its own Pumpkin Tokens, so check that you’re tracking the right event.
