Dandy’s World Haunted Gala is the Halloween Floor Event that covers a level in red fog and hands every player a random mask. Your mask changes your stats and abilities for that floor, so the teammate who normally extracts machines may suddenly be better at distracting Twisteds or healing. It arrived with the October 2, 2026 update.
There are nine different masks, and their effects aren’t merely cosmetic. You need to recognise which Toon you’ve been given and adjust your role quickly. The event can appear as a run gets deeper, and you don’t get to choose a mask in advance.

Haunted Gala cannot occur naturally before Floor 3. After that, its initial chance is 5%, rising by two percentage points after each completed floor up to 30%. You’ll recognise it from the red fog, seasonal decorations and the mask selection. Masks disappear when the floor ends, so you don’t permanently unlock that character or its abilities.

The nine masks affect speed, extraction, stealth and other ordinary stats, along with the listed abilities. Your Health doesn’t change, so a low-health Toon doesn’t receive extra hearts simply because it gets a mask associated with a different character. Neither Eclipse nor Ribecca has a Haunted Gala mask.
Dandy’s World Haunted Gala: Dandy Mask Explained
Dandy’s mask gives five stars in every normal stat while allowing you to keep the active and passive abilities of your own Toon. That makes it particularly good for fast extraction and moving safely between machines. However, its high Stealth can make distracting less reliable because Twisteds may prefer targets with lower Stealth.
Use the speed and extraction advantages to complete machines rather than automatically taking over the distractor’s role. If your original ability supports teammates, keeping it with these improved stats can be particularly strong.
Dandy’s World Haunted Gala: Soulvester, Sprout and Other Support Masks
With the Soulvester mask, Soul Shield allows you to guard a teammate from damage. The protection can cost you a heart, and the Haunted Gala interaction may return it if the guarded player avoids damage until the elevator. Only use the shield when it meaningfully protects someone.
Sprout’s mask gives healing through Baked Sweets and helps identify teammates in need of care. Astro provides stamina support, while Gourdy can give boosts. If you normally play as an extractor, these masks may mean stepping away from machines for a while to keep the team alive.

Pebble can draw enemies away from teammates and locate items. Vee and Shelly have useful extraction-related abilities, while Connie’s Haunting Escape helps evade pursuit. The trick is to use the Toon kit you’ve actually received, not the one you entered the run with.
Tell teammates your mask as soon as the event starts. Agree who will extract machines, who is able to distract, and who can support or heal. An otherwise good team can struggle if everyone continues playing their ordinary role even after their abilities change.
Dandy’s World Haunted Gala: What Happens With a Blackout?
Haunted Gala can overlap a Blackout triggered through certain encounters or a Trick-or-Treat Door. This leaves the floor dark while your team is already dealing with unfamiliar abilities. Stay near known routes, conserve stamina and avoid unnecessary risks until the level is finished.

Because the Dandy’s World Haunted Gala changes every player’s contribution, adaptability matters more than sticking to your normal strategy. Focus on getting the machines finished and the team into the elevator. There’s no point turning a difficult floor into a wipe just because you want to play your usual role.
