The room uses hidden tool parts, breakable pumpkins, letters concealed in the scenery and four named grave sequences before the main door can be opened.

The Brawl Stars Find Gus Shovel is not a finished item waiting on the floor. It has to be assembled from three pieces in the room, and then it remains useful almost all the way to the main door. That makes it the first thing worth fixing if your puzzle seems completely unresponsive.

Where to find the lantern

The Brawl Stars Find Gus Shovel starts with the lantern hidden behind the lower-left pumpkin. Lift or interact with that pumpkin to expose the lantern and collect it.

This object is easy to miss because the pumpkin initially looks like ordinary Brawloween scenery. Do not start smashing pumpkins yet because you still need to finish assembling the tool.

Where to find the stake

Use the shovel to progress toward K

By the time you start spelling the grave names, you ideally want the pumpkin interactions and the first unlocked area finished so N and K are already available.

Dig TOMAR, YOU and DYNAMIKE

After spelling TOMAR, dig its active grave roughly four times for a grave piece. Clear the letters, spell YOU and repeat the digging process. Then solve DYNAMIKE using the hidden letters and dig that grave for the third piece.

The Brawl Stars Find Gus Shovel is therefore more than an opening tool. It is the mechanism that turns each solved name into the physical grave pieces required for Gus.

Dig Gus’s completed grave

Install all three pieces at the broken Gus grave. Activate G from the right-side light, select U and S, and wait for the completed grave to respond.

Use the Brawl Stars Find Gus Shovel on Gus’s grave for roughly four digs. This produces the main-door key, which is separate from the earlier pumpkin chest key.

Shovel not working

If the Brawl Stars Find Gus Shovel will not dig a grave, the most likely issue is the puzzle state rather than the tool itself. The matching name has to be correctly selected before its grave becomes productive.

For Gus, the three grave pieces must also be installed first. For DYNAMIKE, clear the active letters and re-enter the word if the grave does not respond. Repeated tapping on an inactive grave will not substitute for the missing word step.

What the shovel does not open

The shovel does not provide a solution for the right-side locked box. Finishing every known digging interaction still leaves that box closed in current player reports.

That unresolved lock fits the official multi-phase Brawloween structure. The Brawl Stars Find Gus Shovel is enough for the October 1 story route, but it should not be described as a universal key to everything visible in the room.

Supercell has confirmed that Brawloween 2026 is a month-long Gus story released in multiple phases through puzzles, community choices, a creator-led community experience and a finale.
