ARC Raiders Taking Stock is the Nomadic Envoy’s multi-map photography job. You need a sculpture photo on Stella Montis, a Baron Husk photo on Spaceport, a ping on either a Bombardier at Dam Battlegrounds or a Bastion at Buried City, and three Industrial Batteries delivered back in Speranza.
The objectives aren’t all on Pendola Pass, and the enemy targets are an either/or choice rather than two mandatory kills. Bring the Basic Camera the Envoy gives you and use its framing prompt instead of trying to complete these steps with a random screenshot.
Start the mission after Clean Hands
Complete Clean Hands for the Nomadic Envoy, then return to the trader in Speranza to take Taking Stock. The quest supplies a Basic Camera, so check your inventory for it before deploying. Since this assignment spans four different maps, plan it as several runs rather than trying to find everything on a single drop. ARC Raiders Taking Stock also requires Industrial Batteries as an actual delivery, which means finishing the photography without obtaining the materials won’t close the quest.
Photograph the sculpture in Stella Montis Atrium
Deploy to Stella Montis and make your way to the central Atrium. Look for the large sculpture in that open interior area, stand back enough to frame it clearly and use the Basic Camera. The objective is photographing the sculpture rather than looting nearby containers or scanning an Android. Wait for the quest notification before moving on. If ARC Raiders Taking Stock doesn’t register your picture, reposition until the camera’s target text recognises the sculpture and take the shot again.

Photograph a Baron Husk in Spaceport
On Spaceport, locate one of the large dormant Baron Husks and take its picture with the camera. These enormous wrecks are easy to recognise once you’re close, but don’t mistake a living ARC patrol for the stationary husk. You don’t need to wake an enemy or clear a boss to photograph the object. ARC Raiders Taking Stock only needs a valid picture of a Baron Husk; keep the camera on your utility bar so you can frame the wreck quickly and move away before other Raiders arrive.
Ping a Bombardier or a Bastion
The live quest tracker describes these as alternatives. At Dam Battlegrounds, find a Bombardier and use your ping function to mark it. At Buried City, you can instead ping a Bastion. You don’t have to destroy either enemy to satisfy the objective, and doing both isn’t required if the tracker accepts one. ARC Raiders Taking Stock is safer if you mark the target from behind cover, confirm the counter advanced and leave rather than engaging a heavily armoured machine just for the sake of a photograph.
Where to find three Industrial Batteries
For the three Industrial Batteries, start on Dam Battlegrounds. Search the Hydroponic Dome Complex and Power Generation Complex, then check Water Treatment Control and the Scrap Yard. Industrial Batteries can be found in Industrial-tagged containers, red lockers, scrap carts and car hoods. These are higher-potential search areas, not guaranteed spawns.
Spaceport is another option: try Container Storage and Rocket Assembly. Keep all three Industrial Batteries for the Nomadic Envoy’s hand-in rather than recycling them into ordinary Batteries, which are different items. Check your stash before going out, because batteries you already own may count towards the delivery.
A route that avoids wasted preparation
Because you need two photographs on different maps and one ARC ping from a choice of two further maps, equip the Basic Camera on Stella Montis and Spaceport runs and complete one photo at a time. The camera isn’t needed for the ping stage if you use the normal mark function. Use your remaining map trip to gather Industrial Batteries in industrial POIs. ARC Raiders Taking Stock doesn’t demand an uninterrupted four-map session, so extract safely between locations and protect materials that you need to hand in.

Rewards and next mission
Return to the Nomadic Envoy with three Industrial Batteries after completing both photos and either ARC ping. The quest rewards are 8,000 XP, two Jolt Mines and one Advanced Electrical Components. Earlier listings showing 5,000 XP conflict with the current quest database and October walkthroughs; those sources consistently show 8,000 XP. Completing ARC Raiders Taking Stock opens A Path Not Yours, the next Nomadic Envoy mission on Blue Gate.
If the quest won’t complete, check that you carried back three Industrial Batteries, not ordinary Batteries, and that the tracker shows both photographs and your chosen ping objective completed.
