ARC Raiders Epoxy Bucket Locations: Where to Find 3 for Outpost Level 3

Snow-covered Pendola Pass with fallen Emperor in ARC Raiders

ARC Raiders Epoxy Bucket locations are easiest to search for around Pendola Pass, particularly the abandoned train cars near the Railyard, Freight Terminal and Almatera Station. Cielo Sereno Observatory is another good stop, while Storm Huts can hold Epoxy Buckets when Flash Freeze opens them. You need three for your Outpost’s Level 3 room upgrade, so these are worth collecting before you start the expansion.

Epoxy Buckets aren’t a fixed mission reward. They appear among the map’s loot, which means you can search a promising station and still come out empty-handed. The trick is to check the right kinds of containers and loose loot, then use the next nearby location rather than spending an entire raid wandering through unrelated buildings.

The most useful ARC Raiders Epoxy Bucket locations have two things in common: industrial or transport-related loot, and several places to search close together. The railway is a strong starting point, but a high-value Observatory is equally attractive. Embark’s dynamic loot zones on Pendola Pass change between raids, so check which areas are highlighted before choosing where to go.

ARC Raiders Epoxy Bucket locations at the Railyard

Head to the Railyard on Pendola Pass and inspect the abandoned train cars around the Freight Terminal. Check visible items on seats and tables, then look inside accessible drawers and storage. Players have found Epoxy Buckets here as loose loot, so don’t simply run past the passenger carriages looking for a special labelled crate.

If the Railyard is close to your spawn, start with the train interiors and move towards the neighbouring Freight Terminal or Controlled Receiving Facility. Some players report buckets on the facility’s tables and in desk drawers. These ARC Raiders Epoxy Bucket locations aren’t guaranteed, but a short railway route gives you more places to check than camping one container.

ARC Raiders Epoxy Bucket locations at Cielo Sereno Observatory

For Observatory farming, the most specific recent report comes from a player who found four Epoxy Buckets in one raid by searching breachable metal boxes and red lockers. Other players also report multiple buckets around the complex. Look for those containers and search nearby technical workspaces rather than assuming the material only appears in trains.

The Observatory is especially attractive when it has a high-value loot designation for your raid. If it’s already stripped bare, don’t keep searching the same corner: move to another industrial section or take what you’ve found and extract. If the shelves have been emptied, don’t cross the entire map chasing a single reported find.

Storm Huts are the emergency shelters that open during a Flash Freeze. When the weather warning starts, check the in-game map for shelter icons. Head to the closest hut and search its containers and loose items. Epoxy Buckets have been reported here alongside Insulation Rolls and Radial Presses.

You can’t open these shelters whenever you want. If the raid isn’t experiencing Flash Freeze, the doors stay shut and you should use the Railyard or Observatory instead. Our Storm Hut locations guide covers all nine reported areas and explains when they become accessible.

ARC Raiders Epoxy Bucket locations: a three-bucket route

A good Epoxy Bucket run should cover several nearby rooms, not five distant landmarks. Start near your deployment point and let the current high-value zones determine the order. Here’s a route to use when the railway is the closest promising area:

  1. Deploy into Pendola Pass and check the map for its current high-value zones.
  2. Go to the Railyard or Freight Terminal and search the abandoned passenger train cars, including seats, tables and drawers.
  3. Check the Controlled Receiving Facility if you’re still nearby, focusing on desks, shelves and industrial containers.
  4. If your route takes you towards Almatera Station, search its train and station storage before extracting.
  5. On a new raid, try Cielo Sereno Observatory and prioritise breachable metal boxes and red lockers.
  6. If Flash Freeze begins, divert to a nearby Storm Hut for another chance at rare Outpost materials.

These ARC Raiders Epoxy Bucket locations are random drops. If you find one early, protect the item and plan an extraction rather than continuing to fight for extra loot you don’t need. You can return on another raid for the remaining buckets.

ARC Raiders Epoxy Bucket locations: what containers can drop them?

The reports are broader than one specific box type. Buckets have been found as loose loot in train carriages and on work surfaces, inside lockers under or around train stations, and in breachable containers at the Observatory. They’re classed as recyclable loot, so be careful when clearing your stash after a successful run.

Don’t mix up an Epoxy Bucket with the regular planks and tools needed for the upgrade. It’s a separate item in the crafting recipe, and you need to retain three copies. No verified source establishes a permanent guaranteed Epoxy Bucket spawn at one exact coordinate.

ARC Raiders Epoxy Bucket locations: Outpost Level 3 costs

Collect three Epoxy Buckets to expand the Outpost from Level 2 to Level 3. You also need 35 Planks and three Hand Drills. The expansion adds another room and raises the available level cap for the Research Station; the station’s own upgrade costs are separate.

Outpost Level 2 to 3 materialRequired

Planks35
Hand Drill3

Before heading out again, check your stash and the Outpost expansion screen. If you already have three, it’s worth focusing on the missing Hand Drills or Planks instead. See Outpost Upgrades for all room costs and Workshop Upgrades for the separate crafting stations.

ARC Raiders Epoxy Bucket locations: why they’re missing

Random loot and dynamic zone quality are the two biggest reasons a familiar route stops paying off. Another Raider may have looted the train before you got there, or the area may be less valuable on this particular raid. If the same train cars keep coming up empty, try the Observatory’s breachable containers or Flash Freeze shelters instead.

Once you have enough, keep all three in your stash. The Outpost upgrade uses the items you’ve gathered, and recycling an Epoxy Bucket for materials means you’ll need to return to Pendola Pass to replace it. None of the suggested searches requires a special Epoxy Bucket quest or key.
