Arataki Itto has been receiving a lot of balance changes in the recent beta updates for the 2.3 version of Genshin Impact. The highly anticipated half-oni will be the featured 5-star character in the second banner of the next version, alongside Gorou, the new 4-star support.

Gorou, alongside Albedo, who will be making his return in the version’s initial banner, will all be great partners for Itto, who benefits from a Geo-focused team, especially when he activates his constellations.

Arataki Itto received a lot of tweaks recently, involving his base status, constellations, and even his looks. Time to find out how he changed!

First of all, let’s start with the most recent changes: his base status.

Itto’s stats have been the target of lots of balancing updates. In order to balance his scalings, which are heavily focused on Defense, other stats like his Attack are lower than the usual. And they just received some changes.

As posted in the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor Discord server, both his ATK and DEF went up, while his HP went down a little bit. That’s a buff, as Itto has enough defense to endure almost anything thrown at him. And also, Geo gives him access to Crystalized shields, which are always helpful.
Next, we have some changes that happened a few days ago. Some of his constellations were rearranged, similar to what happened to Raiden before her release.

The changes were focused on Constellations 2, 4, and 6:

C2

After using Royal Descent: Behold, Itto the Evil!, each party member whose Element is Geo will decrease that skill’s CD by 1.5s and restore 6 Energy to Arataki Itto. A maximum of 6s > 4.5s CD can be decreased and 24 > 18 Energy restored in this manner.

C4

While in the Raging Oni King state caused by Royal Descent: Behold, Itto the Evil!, Itto has 25% higher CRIT Rate against opponents with equal or lower HP percentage remaining than him. >

When the Raging Oni King state caused by Royal Descent: Behold, Itto the Evil! ends, all nearby party members gain 20% DEF and 20% ATK for 10s.

C6

Arataki Itto’s Charged Attacks deal 50% > 70% increased Crit DMG. Additionally, when he uses Arataki Kesagiri, he has a 50% chance to not consume stacks of Superlative Superstrength.

Also, he now has a visual indicator for his Superlative Superstrength passive.

Genshin Impact is available to play for free on mobile devices including Android, iOS, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, and Pc on both miHoYo’s official launcher and Epic Games Store.
