Apex Legends Revenant Season 31 changes arrive with Cipher on 3 November 2026. Respawn is making Shadow Pounce faster and more available, cutting the Ultimate cooldown and replacing several older upgrades with new choices. The headline additions are Silence, No Escape and Every Lasting.

These are more than small stat changes. Revenant gets better tools to close distance, interrupt enemy abilities and keep an aggressive push going after a knock. Here’s what each confirmed adjustment does, including the cooldown reductions and new interactions with his passive.

Apex Legends Revenant Season 31 buffs explained

Revenant’s Tactical cooldown is reduced by five seconds, while its attack and charge-up animations become faster. Those improvements are folded into his regular kit, so players no longer need the previous cooldown or Agile Assassin upgrades just to get the snappier leap behaviour.

Shadow Pounce should feel more responsive whether you’re chasing somebody down or pulling out of a fight. It doesn’t change the basic idea that a poorly timed leap can put Revenant in danger. The difference is that he can act more quickly and has less downtime between attempts.

Ultimate cooldown and Shadow duration changes

Revenant’s Ultimate cooldown drops by 30 seconds. Respawn is also removing the old rule that prevented the active Ultimate timer from extending beyond 35 seconds. When Revenant scores a knock while his Ultimate is active, the ability now adds five seconds to the timer.

That matters most during a fight with several enemies. A knock can keep the Ultimate running instead of simply consuming the remaining time, letting Revenant press an advantage. The Apex Legends Revenant Season 31 change rewards successful aggression rather than letting the clock shut down a well-executed push immediately.

Apex Legends Revenant Season 31: how Silence works

The Silence upgrade returns in a new form. After Revenant lands from a Shadow Pounce, an area-of-effect pulse triggers around the landing point. Enemies caught by that pulse are silenced for four seconds, temporarily preventing them from using their abilities.

Silence replaces the old Tactical Cooldown upgrade because that five-second cooldown improvement is now part of Revenant’s base kit. For Apex Legends Revenant Season 31, this gives the Tactical an offensive payoff as well as movement. Landing near the right enemy can disrupt their escape or defensive response.

No Escape: refreshing Shadow Pounce with a passive mark

No Escape replaces Agile Assassin. Revenant’s Assassin’s Instinct passive marks enemies who are low on health, and the new upgrade refreshes his Tactical when such a mark appears. That creates another opportunity to use Shadow Pounce during the same engagement.

The new interaction is useful when a damaged opponent attempts to get away. The mark tells Revenant that the target is vulnerable; No Escape then returns his movement ability for another push. It is a different benefit from the reduced cooldown, so the Apex Legends Revenant Season 31 loadout can favour pursuing marked enemies.

Every Lasting: extending the Ultimate after a knock

The Every Lasting upgrade replaces the previous Ultimate Cooldown upgrade. It adds 10 seconds to Revenant’s Ultimate when he scores a knock during the active ability. This is on top of the new general idea that successful knocks can extend the Ultimate’s lifespan.

Don’t confuse that upgrade with the Ultimate’s base five-second knock extension. Respawn confirms that knocks extend the base Ultimate by five seconds and that Every Lasting grants a 10-second extension. The notes do not establish that those two figures should be added together for a 15-second extension. The confirmed benefit is more time for an aggressive Revenant when a fight goes well.

Apex Legends Revenant Season 31: which upgrade to choose?

Silence is the obvious choice when you want to interrupt an enemy as you land. No Escape is designed for chasing enemies revealed by Assassin’s Instinct, while Every Lasting rewards chaining knocks during the Ultimate. The best choice depends on whether your squad needs control, pursuit or staying power.

Respawn’s changes aim to give Revenant more meaningful decisions than the old upgrades, which mostly modified cooldowns and animation speed. Apex Legends Revenant Season 31 players should revisit their choices rather than automatically selecting whichever option used to make Shadow Pounce faster.

When will the Revenant changes launch?

Apex Legends Revenant Season 31 arrives on 3 November 2026, with the complete 31.0 patch notes scheduled for 2 November. The main confirmed numbers are a five-second Tactical cooldown reduction, a 30-second Ultimate cooldown reduction, a four-second Silence and an Every Lasting bonus of 10 seconds after a knock.
