AION 2 Resurrection Spiritstones are available in the Rise to the Challenge event after the October 21 update, with 60 stones costing 75,000 Kina across two weekly shop purchases.
The AION 2 Resurrection Spiritstones bundles have different prices, must be bought in order, and contain temporary Season 1 stones that expire in December. Here are the exact prices, limits and removal rules.

Where to buy the event stones
The Rise to the Challenge event for AION 2 Resurrection Spiritstones runs from after the October 21 European maintenance until before maintenance on December 16. Visit Shop → Wind Breeze Merchants to buy the Season 1 offer with Kina. Rewards go straight to your inventory and cannot be traded.
Prices and weekly purchase limits
| Shop step | Stones | Kina cost | Limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Step 1 | 30 | 25,000 | 1 per server per week |
| Step 2 | 30 | 50,000 | 1 per server per week, after Step 1 |
| Total | 60 | 75,000 | Both steps |
Step 1 awards 30 stones for 25,000 Kina. Once you’ve bought that tier, Step 2 offers another 30 for 50,000 Kina. Both together cost 75,000 Kina for 60 stones. The first tier is cheaper per stone; you can stop after buying 30 if you don’t need the full amount.
When the event stones expire
The stones supplied by Rise to the Challenge expire on December 16, 2026 at 09:00 CET, or 08:00 GMT in the UK. NC also gives midnight PST for the same moment. The removal schedule is separate from the shop closing before December 16 maintenance, and any unused event stones will be removed.
Each week’s AION 2 Resurrection Spiritstones allowance is limited by server, so buying on another character does not give that server another allowance.
Do time-limited stones get used first?
Yes. When you revive, the time-limited Resurrection Spiritstone (Season 1) is used before any permanent Bound stones in your inventory. NC labels the offer Season 1 and describes the included stones as Bound, but explicitly states that the temporary ones are consumed first. Extra stones cannot override a dungeon’s revive limit.

Weekly purchase limits and Kina planning
AION 2 Resurrection Spiritstones are sold in two bundles, each available once per server per week. NC’s event notice does not describe unlimited purchases per character, and the second tier is gated behind the first. A full week’s allowance therefore costs 75,000 Kina for 60 stones on the server. If you purchase only Step 1, you get 30 stones for 25,000 Kina and still have the second tier available subject to its conditions. When planning other purchases, check the budget in our AION 2 Kina guide rather than treating every event bundle as compulsory.
How these stones relate to Hard Mode
The October 21 patch also adds Hard Mode for Krao Cave and Draupnir. Each player is limited to three revives in Hard Mode, alongside a four-minute boss Frenzy timer and an item-level requirement of 2,600. Carrying additional event stones does not remove that three-revive restriction. The timing of Rise to the Challenge makes the revival supplies especially relevant to people exploring difficult content, although they remain available as general event shop purchases.
Other Resurrection Spiritstone sources
The Halloween Coin Merchant has a separate AION 2 Resurrection Spiritstones offer bought with Pumpkin Coins. That is a different shop and a different currency from the Rise to the Challenge Kina bundle. If you are trying to use event currency instead, read our Halloween Coin Merchant guide and Pumpkin Coins guide. The two offers can be used separately, but their weekly allowances and currencies aren’t interchangeable.
What to check before buying
Before buying AION 2 Resurrection Spiritstones, check how many Season 1 stones are already in your inventory and how many you expect to use before removal. Players who revive frequently may get value from both tiers, while players who rarely need to resurrect might prefer the first bundle or no purchase. AION 2 Resurrection Spiritstones can help during difficult attempts, but their expiry makes the purchase different from buying permanent supplies.
