Guild Wars 2 Halloween 2026 rewards include the Plush Mad King Backpack, Mini Longhaired Black Cat and four new decorations available during Shadow of the Mad King. The backpack and mini cost Candy Corn Cobs plus other materials, while Deft Lahar in Lion’s Arch handles the decorations. The festival closes on 3 November 2026.

There are also achievement prizes worth collecting: the Primeval King’s Wrappings headpiece and a choice of Fog Machine weapon. You’ll need to work on the annual Halloween Rituals achievement for those, rather than buying them from a festival vendor. Here’s where to find the different items before the event ends.

Guild Wars 2 Halloween 2026 rewards: full list and sources

ArenaNet has confirmed two new vendor cosmetics, four housing or guild decorations and the annual achievement prizes. The table brings the routes together, so you can decide whether to spend Candy Corn, visit Deft Lahar or head out to complete another achievement.

How to get the Plush Mad King Backpack and Black Cat

To buy the Plush Mad King Backpack or Mini Longhaired Black Cat, visit the festival’s Candy Corn vendors and check the item’s required Candy Corn Cobs and other materials. Both are purchases, not rewards for finishing the annual meta.

Open each item at its vendor before exchanging your materials. The exact totals aren’t listed in ArenaNet’s announcement, and different items can need different ingredients. Work from the prices displayed in your live vendor menu instead of an estimated shopping list.

Where to buy the four new Halloween decorations

For the new decorations, find Deft Lahar in Lion’s Arch. ArenaNet names Plush Zhaia, Plush Mad King, Foreboding Raven Tree and Foreboding Raven Roost as the four additions. These are guild and homestead decorations, separate from the wearable backpack.

Visit Deft Lahar while the festival is running to see the available unlocks and requirements. The two plush items are decorative furnishings, while the raven-themed pieces suit a darker setup. Check the crafting or material requirements in game before committing your supplies.

Guild Wars 2 Halloween 2026 rewards from Halloween Rituals

Completing (Annual) Halloween Rituals earns the Primeval King’s Wrappings headpiece. Progress along the annual achievement also gives a choice of Fog Machine weapon. Another weapon choice is available through (Weekly) Halloween Festivities, according to ArenaNet’s official patch notes.

Open Achievements → Festivals and check the annual tasks still outstanding. Our Halloween Rituals 2026 guide explains the progression and the annual reward. If you want the headpiece, farming Candy Corn alone won’t finish the meta.

Where to farm Candy Corn and Trick-or-Treat Bags

The Mad King’s Labyrinth is the main Halloween combat maze, with haunted doors, Trick-or-Treat Bags and bosses such as the Grand High Viscount of Candy Corn and Labyrinthine Horror. It’s a useful place to spend time if you want more festival loot or have combat achievements left.

Find an active group through Looking For Group and follow the commander around the maze. Our Labyrinth 2026 farming guide covers the entrance routes. You can also tackle the Clock Tower, Mad King Says, races or Ascent to Madness for other festival objectives.

Are Gem Store cosmetics included in Guild Wars 2 Halloween 2026 rewards?

ArenaNet also has separate Gem Store offers. The Autumn Garden Homestead Package costs 800 gems, with fencing, leaf piles, lanterns and other garden pieces. There are seasonal outfit discounts and Halloween-themed Black Lion Chest items as well.

Those are optional premium purchases, not prizes from the annual achievement or the Candy Corn vendors. If you’re looking specifically for the four 2026 Halloween decorations listed above, start with Deft Lahar, not the Autumn Garden package.

When do Guild Wars 2 Halloween 2026 rewards end?

Shadow of the Mad King ends on 3 November 2026. ArenaNet hasn’t supplied a separate UK closing hour in the announcement, so keep an eye on the in-game festival countdown during your final session.

For Guild Wars 2 Halloween 2026 rewards, decide what you still want to claim: the headpiece and weapon from achievements, the backpack and mini from festival vendors, or decorations from Deft Lahar. Then spend your remaining event time on the activities and purchases that lead to those items.
