DOORS Sir Abe C. II is the talking Creak-like stalker who owns the Estate in DOORS’ 2026 Halloween Candy Vault. He initially welcomes players into the mansion but turns hostile after they open his forbidden vault, pursuing them through the timed 50-door descent.
You cannot survive the chase simply by running in a straight line or permanently staring at him. You need to track his position, listen for aggression cues and keep moving while other monsters also attack. Here’s how the encounter starts, how to manage his pursuit and what to do when the route or upgrade menu traps you.
DOORS Sir Abe C. II: Where Sir Abe appears

Start a Candy Vault run, enter the courtyard and open the Estate door. Glitch transforms the hostile Creak into Sir Abraham Creakstopher II, who introduces his mansion before warning you to stay away from the vault. You can search the manor without the timed pursuit. The actual DOORS Sir Abe C. II chase starts after you solve the three green-zone wheel timings, enter the forbidden vault and watch Abe pull the fire alarm.
DOORS Sir Abe C. II: What makes his behaviour different
Abe behaves like a stalking version of Creak. His footsteps, voice lines and movement give away how close he is. He grows dangerous when players stop tracking him, so watching his position can slow his approach. But keeping the camera trained permanently behind you is a bad idea in the Vault: other threats punish inattention to the route ahead. The safest DOORS Sir Abe C. II strategy alternates quick checks behind with steady movement towards numbered doors.
How his aggression changes
The event’s sound files identify creeping stages, low and high aggression, spotting, chasing, retreating and a staredown. These are different states, not a promise that every sound will play at the same door in every run. When you hear Abe approaching, end long item searches and locate your next escape route. If he notices you or starts chasing, focus on distance and the next open door rather than trying to bargain with his dialogue. Clear sight lines help you judge his position.
DOORS Sir Abe C. II: Solo survival strategy
After the fire alarm, the clock gives you twenty minutes to clear fifty underground doors. For DOORS Sir Abe C. II, use the untimed Estate to find supplies first, then leave optional looting until you have earned Sweet Deceit. In the descent, scan behind between rooms, move through doors quickly and avoid lingering at desks. If Abe is close, don’t enter a long interface; keep to a route that doesn’t trap you in a dead end.
Co-op positioning and callouts
In a group, let one player monitor DOORS Sir Abe C. II while the others look for the next door or collect supplies. The lookout should still move with the team: someone stationary in the corridor can be isolated. Agree on simple callouts such as ‘behind us’, ‘next door open’ and ‘leave the loot’. All players need to enter the vault after solving the Estate wheel before the cutscene proceeds, so don’t abandon anyone at that transition.
DOORS Sir Abe C. II: R.I.P. modifier machine danger
In the underground vault, the R.I.P. machine offers temporary or permanent modifiers. Some change the roster of enemies encountered. In multiplayer, an effect is applied to the player choosing it, not necessarily the whole group. Current community reports describe DOORS Sir Abe C. II reaching players through the gate while they are reading the menu. Don’t assume that opening the upgrade interface pauses the chase. If Abe is nearby, move away or have a teammate watch him before making a selection.
Can a Crucifix help?
A Crucifix can appear in locked Estate item cases opened with Jewelry Keys. Sir Abe has unique Crucifix reaction dialogue, but the interaction should not be treated as a guaranteed permanent way to remove him from the entire run. Preserve defensive equipment for a real emergency rather than spending it casually during the untimed manor. A Pocket Mirror is a different item used with Portrait for optional item duplication, not a guaranteed way to stop DOORS Sir Abe C. II.
Other entities you must handle separately

Abe is not your only threat. Lookman punishes looking at him, which is the opposite of watching the stalking boss. Screech announces itself with a sound, while floor scrappers deal damage if you remain on them. Weavelings carry loot and run away when approached. These encounters do not all share Abe’s rules, so react to what is actually present rather than staring at every creature. Keeping DOORS Sir Abe C. II in your peripheral awareness is safer than locking your camera backwards at all times.
DOORS Sir Abe C. II: If you get cornered or stuck
If the next door is closed and Abe is advancing, look for a clear path around nearby furniture and don’t keep searching drawers. If a teammate is trapped, communicate the nearest open door rather than clustering around the threat. Reports of menu-related softlocks or Abe attacking through a modifier gate don’t have a guaranteed repair. Rejoining a fresh server may be necessary after a permanent black screen, but abandoning an unfinished 50-door run will not give Sweet Deceit.
When you’ve escaped him
At the end of Door 50, take the final exit before the twenty-minute countdown expires. Leaving successfully awards Sweet Deceit and qualifies you for the All-Seeking Antlers in Roblox The Hollow. Avoid spending the last minutes opening Skeleton Key reward vaults on your first run. Once you’ve escaped DOORS Sir Abe C. II, later runs can be devoted to more candy, Portrait duplication and the optional Taking Candy From Abe achievement.
