Pet Simulator 99 Huge Agony is a rare reward from the Grand Heaven Chest in PSX Classic, the throwback event introduced with Update 99 on October 24, 2026. You need to work through the old Pet Simulator X areas until you reach the upper part of the Classic climb, where the chest awaits.
Agony isn’t an egg hatch. It’s one of several new Huges spread across different parts of the event, and the Grand Heaven Chest is its confirmed source. Breaking the chest gives you a chance at the pet; it isn’t guaranteed on the first attempt. A successful Classic Huge also earns a matching twin when you return to normal PS99.
Where to find the Grand Heaven Chest
To get Pet Simulator 99 Huge Agony, head towards Heaven’s Gate in the PSX Classic progression. BIG Games says the Grand Heaven Chest waits near the very top of the climb. Start in Town, clear the Spawn areas, then travel through the Fantasy portals and onwards to the upper Classic zones.
You enter PSX Classic through the portal behind the eggs in ordinary PS99. Walk through and press Play, or use the Join Event shortcut on the sidebar. All players start fresh in Town inside Classic. Your strong regular-game pets don’t automatically let you skip to the final chest: you have to build up progress through the event.

How to get Pet Simulator 99 Huge Agony
Once you’ve reached the chest, send your pets to break the Grand Heaven Chest for a chance at Pet Simulator 99 Huge Agony. That’s the acquisition method BIG Games confirms. The public Update 99 notes don’t list a precise drop percentage, chest-health figure or number of breaks required to obtain it.
If your team struggles to damage late-game objects, hatch stronger Classic pets and spend time gathering currency before returning. Work through each area in order so you can access the end of the event without relying on the strength of your normal PS99 collection.
There are two Agony names worth keeping straight. Pet Simulator 99 Huge Agony comes from the Classic Grand Heaven Chest; the Titanic Crackling Agony is associated with the Yeti fight back on Diamond Mountain. They have different rarity tiers and reward sources, so make sure you’re chasing the one you actually want.
How to reach the top of PSX Classic
Classic has 18 areas, beginning in Town and continuing from Spawn into Fantasy. After opening the Fantasy portals, continue across the islands until you approach Heaven’s Gate. New areas pay rewards back in PS99, so the climb gives you useful progress even if the Grand Heaven Chest takes a while to produce the Huge.
For a reliable route towards Pet Simulator 99 Huge Agony, build a team that can quickly break the currency available in your current area. Hatch pets as stronger eggs open up and invest in advancing through the next zone rather than spending your entire balance at the start. You need access to the high-level chest before the Agony hunt really begins.

Does Huge Agony also appear in Pet Simulator 99?
Yes. Pet Simulator 99 Huge Agony is part of the new Classic Twins system. The Classic version is obtained inside PSX Classic. Use the Home control on the left to return to regular PS99 and its corresponding Classic Twin arrives there. You keep the old-style pet in Classic as well.
The Home button handles the matching reward automatically. Trading is disabled inside Classic, so you don’t need to trade the original Huge to your main character. If your PS99 twin seems missing, return Home and check the Pets inventory and its search filters. The new collapsible categories are in the Items tab, not a separate hiding place for pets.
Completing the 18 areas offers other rewards along the way. On your first return home, you get 100,000 Diamonds and 10 Mini Chests. Those are area-progress rewards, not evidence that you’ve acquired Pet Simulator 99 Huge Agony. The twin follows a successful Classic Huge drop.
Agony vs the other Update 99 Huge pets
If you’re not having any luck with Pet Simulator 99 Huge Agony, there are several separate Huge routes to try. Huge Dalmatian can hatch from any Classic egg, while Huge Tiger is exclusive to the final Empyrean Egg. Huge Froggy is the free reward at Tier 4 of the PSX Classic Season Pass, making it a progress-based alternative to the chest hunt.
Huge Reaper comes from the PSX Classic leaderboard, which scores your rarest hatches, while Huge Empyrean Fox is a clan reward. None of those alternative methods awards Agony directly, and a high leaderboard score does not replace the need to break Grand Heaven Chest.
Can you increase the Huge Agony drop chance?
BIG Games has not published a confirmed upgrade specifically increasing the chance of Pet Simulator 99 Huge Agony from the Grand Heaven Chest. Free Auto Hatch helps with eggs, but it won’t get you a chest-only Huge. You need to break the Grand Heaven Chest for this one. Focus on reaching and breaking the chest rather than spending hours opening the Empyrean Egg for an Agony.
Don’t confuse the chest with the Diamond Mountain boss activities. The Abominable Yeti guide explains how its fights and rewards work, while the secret trails and expeditions offer other ways to collect rare pets. They don’t drop this Classic Huge.
Why hasn’t Huge Agony dropped yet?
If you’ve broken the Grand Heaven Chest several times without finding Pet Simulator 99 Huge Agony, that’s possible with a rare drop. The official announcement doesn’t provide a number of guaranteed clears, so continuing your attempts is the supported route. If you’re not at the chest yet, keep advancing through Fantasy towards Heaven’s Gate.
The Update 98 overview and Diamond Mountain walkthrough cover the previous event, whereas the Grand Heaven Chest belongs to PSX Classic. Players coming back from the Yeti Leaderboard should switch activities rather than continuing to farm that boss for Agony.
To get Pet Simulator 99 Huge Agony, unlock the Grand Heaven Chest and keep breaking it for the rare drop. Once you succeed, return Home for the matching PS99 pet.
