Warframe Taubound Tactical Alerts are the biggest guaranteed Moonflesh payouts in Epoch Operation: Taubound. They rotate into Navigation roughly once an hour and pay 50 Moonflesh on the normal Star Chart or 75 Moonflesh on Steel Path.
The mission itself can add more. Eligible Infested inside the Alert have a chance to drop 2 Moonflesh each, or 3 on Steel Path, so the final total can climb above the fixed completion reward.
How to find Warframe Taubound Tactical Alerts

Open Navigation while Epoch Operation: Taubound is active and look for the current Operation Alert. Warframe Taubound Tactical Alerts cycle in about every hour, which means there can be stretches where one is not currently on the map.
They are temporary Alerts rather than permanent Eris nodes. If the current one expires before you enter, the next Taubound Alert will appear on a later rotation.
How much Moonflesh do Taubound Tactical Alerts give?
| Alert difficulty | Completion reward | Infested drop |
|---|---|---|
| Normal Star Chart | 50 Moonflesh | 2 Moonflesh per successful drop |
| Steel Path | 75 Moonflesh | 3 Moonflesh per successful drop |
Each Alert has two Moonflesh sources. Finishing it gives the guaranteed 50 or 75, and any eligible Infested drops collected during the run are added on top.
Maggots are excluded from the enemy-drop pool. Other Infested can drop Moonflesh, so the total from one Alert varies even though the completion payout is fixed.
Are Steel Path Tactical Alerts worth doing?
Steel Path pays 75 Moonflesh instead of 50 and raises eligible Infested drops from 2 to 3. That is a 50% increase on both of the confirmed live Moonflesh values.
The 50% higher Steel Path payout is useful only if the tougher mission still clears quickly for your loadout. A smooth normal run can beat a slow Steel Path clear on Moonflesh per minute.
Do resource boosters work on Taubound Tactical Alerts?
No. Moonflesh is Operation Currency, so Resource Boosters have no effect on it. Warframe Taubound Tactical Alerts stay at 50 Moonflesh on normal and 75 on Steel Path regardless of an active booster.
Enemy drops follow the same rule. A booster won’t turn a 2-Moonflesh normal drop into 4 or a 3-Moonflesh Steel Path drop into 6.
Can newer players access the Tactical Alerts?
Yes, once Vor’s Prize is complete. Epoch Operation: Taubound temporarily unlocks Eris access for eligible Tenno, bypassing the normal Star Chart and Junction route for the event.
The Hex and The Old Peace aren’t needed for Moonflesh farming. Those quests unlock the permanent Tau Prologue, not Warframe Taubound Tactical Alerts or Praghasa’s event shop.
Tactical Alerts vs normal Eris missions
Normal Eris missions remain useful between Alert rotations because eligible Infested can still drop Moonflesh there and the mission itself has its event payout. The Alerts stand out because they add the guaranteed 50 or 75 Moonflesh completion reward on top of those enemy-drop chances.
A simple farming loop is to run Eris normally while no Alert is visible, then switch to the Warframe Taubound Tactical Alerts as soon as one appears in Navigation. That keeps the Moonflesh farm moving instead of waiting around for the next hourly rotation.
What should you spend the Alert Moonflesh on?
Spend the Moonflesh with Praghasa on Eris. Her shop includes the Contegorus Armor pieces, Vacis Amp Skin, Dhampyre Syandana, The Moon Killer Honoria, a Legendary Core, Tauforged Archon Shards, Arcanes and returning Operation gear.
Several high-value rewards have limits. The Legendary Core and each Tauforged Archon Shard can be bought once, while every listed Arcane has a 42-copy cap.
When do Warframe Taubound Tactical Alerts end?
Warframe Taubound Tactical Alerts disappear when Epoch Operation: Taubound ends on November 17, 2026. Digital Extremes says the Operation will not rerun, so the hourly Alert farm is limited to this event window.
