Brawl Stars competitive maps have 18 new contest winners after the Brawl Craft Competitive Mapmaking Contest announced its results on October 13, 2026. Three community-created designs were selected for each of six modes: Bounty, Brawl Ball, Gem Grab, Heist, Hot Zone and Knockout.
The organisers plan to introduce these maps for testing ahead of the Brawl Stars Championship 2027. Their selection is not a promise that every map will appear in the final tournament pool, and the original announcement doesn’t give a confirmed regional launch time. Here are all 18 names and their credited creators.

This contest selected exactly three designs in each of the six listed modes, for a total of 18. Some creators appear more than once: Maheryy has two winning entries and YourLocalKnight has three. The contest winners are prospective competitive additions rather than maps already guaranteed to enter every live queue.
Bounty: winning competitive maps
| Map | Creator |
|---|---|
| Endothermic Shift | Goldalf |
| Eye of the Beholder | Dustybud |
| Sudden Movement | Maheryy |

Bounty’s three winning maps bring distinct cover arrangements. Endothermic Shift has open vertical firing angles and grass closer to the centre. Eye of the Beholder includes side walls and long sightlines, while Sudden Movement mixes openings with places to retreat behind cover. Which Brawlers benefit most will be clearer when these designs are playable.
These three Bounty maps are part of the Brawl Stars competitive maps testing selection. Their published names and creators are confirmed through the winner announcement; detailed matchmaking rotation dates and any future balance adjustments haven’t been separately announced.
Brawl Ball: winning competitive maps
| Map | Creator |
|---|---|
| Human Nature | Hazel |
| Passing Through | Volt |
| Front Tackle | YourLocalKnight |
Human Nature, Passing Through and Front Tackle are the Brawl Ball winners. Human Nature uses closely contested approaches; Passing Through has diagonal routes and wall interactions; Front Tackle accommodates mid-range and longer-range lanes. Teams can study those broad features without claiming a fixed best lineup before launch.

Gem Grab: winning competitive maps
| Map | Creator |
|---|---|
| Emotional Detachment | Gawbew |
| Don’ty Leaf Me | Maheryy |
| Ravenous Rapids | Jarang |
Gem Grab adds Emotional Detachment, Don’ty Leaf Me and Ravenous Rapids. Their selection gives testers three different layouts in a mode built around the mine. Maintaining a route for a gem carrier to retreat safely and controlling space around the central objective will matter in actual matches.

Heist: winning competitive maps
| Map | Creator |
|---|---|
| Prinstream | Mindy |
| Fires Across | YourLocalKnight |
| On the Lookout | Jeram63 |
Heist’s Prinstream has water and wider shooting lanes, Fires Across favours ranged approaches, and On the Lookout combines bushes with three distinct lanes. These differences can affect the paths teams take toward the safe. None of these maps yet has a proven winning team composition.

Hot Zone: winning competitive maps
| Map | Creator |
|---|---|
| Framework | Kayge |
| Sectioned | PistonMan |
| Sunken Harbor | YourLocalKnight |
Framework has a single Hot Zone, while Sectioned and Sunken Harbor both have two. One-zone and two-zone layouts demand different choices about splitting a team and moving between objectives. Sunken Harbor’s central area can pressure both zones; testing will show how those rotations play.
These three Hot Zone maps are part of the Brawl Stars competitive maps testing selection. Their published names and creators are confirmed through the winner announcement; detailed matchmaking rotation dates and any future balance adjustments haven’t been separately announced.
Knockout: winning competitive maps
| Map | Creator |
|---|---|
| Sound Waves | Leost4r |
| Dry Run | Quazar |
| Pincer Movement | Ascend |
Sound Waves and Dry Run include longer firing lanes, while Pincer Movement has cover routes that may encourage ambushes. In Knockout, positioning matters because eliminated Brawlers don’t return during that round. Predicted strategies remain just that until the maps enter the game.

When will the new Brawl Stars competitive maps release?
The contest announcement says the maps will come to the game in the next update to be tested. That’s not an exact October 15 release commitment or a guarantee of a specific time in the UK. Until the update lands and the rotation is visible, players shouldn’t assume all 18 designs are already available in Ranked.
The Brawl Stars competitive maps announcement concerns testing ahead of the 2027 championship. A map can be tested without becoming a permanent Ranked selection or tournament fixture. No complete final championship map pool is established simply by winning the contest.
How the competitive mapmaking contest was judged
The competition invited community mapmakers to create balanced designs. Judges mentioned in coverage include SpenLC, SymantecBS, wigglyspoo and RealCanadian_BS. The competition closed in early October, and its winners were announced on October 13.
These Brawl Stars competitive maps span six established competitive modes, which lets players evaluate very different objectives rather than comparing only one layout type. Bounty rewards protecting a star lead, Heist centres on safe damage, and Hot Zone demands objective control.
Which maps are worth learning first?
Start with the mode you play most. Framework stands out as the single-zone Hot Zone selection, while Sectioned and Sunken Harbor use two zones. In Heist, On the Lookout offers three lanes and Prinstream includes water. The announced layouts may lead to different map-control strategies once testing begins.
Bounty and Knockout also have several maps featuring longer sightlines, but that doesn’t prove a particular sniper or thrower lineup will dominate. Draft choices will depend on the final layouts, available Brawlers and balance updates when these Brawl Stars competitive maps become playable.
Are the 18 maps confirmed for the 2027 Brawl Stars Championship?
No. The contest winners are intended to be tested with the 2027 championship in mind. Selection from the competition doesn’t mean official tournament organisers have committed to all 18 for the final championship rulebook. Players should distinguish the announced testing plan from a confirmed competitive schedule.
Learning their names and modes now is useful, but detailed best-Brawler rankings are premature. The Brawl Stars competitive maps will need live matches and tournament practice before claims about ideal teams can be supported by evidence.
