The ARC Raiders Snap Hook Blueprint is a Legendary gadget recipe found during Electromagnetic Storm. Once you’ve learned it, craft a Snap Hook at Utility Station Level 3 with 2 Power Rods, 3 Rope and 1 Exodus Module. Frozen Trail 2.0 reduced the Snap Hook’s range from 20 to 18 metres and doubled durability consumption per use from 2% to 4%.
The Snap Hook is a movement tool used to scale structures, cross gaps and recover from falls. It is not the new Grappling Hook, and completed Snap Hooks awarded by quests don’t teach the crafting recipe. The blueprint source, Utility Station recipe, repair costs and updated movement limits are below.
Where to find the ARC Raiders Snap Hook Blueprint

The ARC Raiders Snap Hook Blueprint belongs to loot available under the Electromagnetic Storm map condition. Community drop tracking places it in normal containers during that condition, with Residential loot a popular farming focus. It is a random schematic, not a guaranteed reward from the first storm run or a fixed box.
| Blueprint farming | Details |
|---|---|
| Map condition | Electromagnetic Storm |
| Recorded containers | Varied scavenging containers; Residential commonly targeted |
| Specific guaranteed spawn | None |
| Weekly Trial blueprint reward | Trophy-only listing for this blueprint |
| Crafting station | Utility Station Level 3 |
To farm the ARC Raiders Snap Hook Blueprint, enter an Electromagnetic Storm and search lots of containers while watching the timer and the storm’s hazards. Take the recipe into a Safe Pocket if available, extract, and use Learn and Consume in Speranza. The finished Snap Hook can also be found through scavenging, but that is not the recipe.
How to craft and repair Snap Hook
| Action | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Craft one | Utility Station 3 + learned Snap Hook Blueprint |
| Power Rod | 2 |
| Rope | 3 |
| Exodus Module | 1 |
| Repair | 1 Power Rod + 1 Exodus Module restores 50 durability |
The ARC Raiders Snap Hook Blueprint unlocks that recipe permanently. One completed tool has 100 maximum durability, and repairing replenishes 50. Power Rods and Exodus Modules are valuable, so calculate the cost of repairing a damaged Snap Hook against crafting a replacement when you’re preparing multiple raids.
Snap Hook range and durability after 2.0

Frozen Trail changed three numbers: 18 metres maximum range instead of 20, 4% durability consumed per use instead of 2%, and power cost 60 instead of 50. That means shorter reach and fewer activations before maintenance. Guides repeating the 20-metre range are pre-2.0.
The ARC Raiders Snap Hook Blueprint does not grant infinite use. Test reachable anchors before jumping, and reserve durability for places that actually need a grapple. Attaching to a wall during a fall can stop or soften the drop, which is especially useful around high buildings and shafts.
Can quests give you a Snap Hook without the blueprint?
Yes. Quest rewards including Lost in Transmission, Stable Housing and Belly of the Beast provide finished Snap Hooks. Raider Decks also include them. These sources are useful when you need the gadget for a difficult raid before farming the ARC Raiders Snap Hook Blueprint. But receiving a gadget is not a permanent crafting unlock.
There is also a Trophy Display project requirement involving Snap Hooks. If you’re saving completed ones for a project, don’t dismantle your last copy. A learned blueprint only gives you the ability to build more later; it won’t reimburse the materials for a tool you already salvaged.
Snap Hook versus Grappling Hook
The Snap Hook is an older Legendary quick-use tool with a defined anchor range and durability. Frozen Trail introduced the Grappling Hook as another traversal option with its own acquisition methods. The ARC Raiders Snap Hook Blueprint is therefore not the Grappling Hook blueprint, and owning one does not teach the other.
The Grappling Hook guide covers the new gadget. For Snap Hook farming, follow Electromagnetic Storm conditions and prioritise survival and extraction over a supposedly fixed chest. The ARC Raiders Snap Hook Blueprint only becomes useful after it’s safely learned at home.
