ARC Raiders Wires Crossed takes you to three antennas across The Blue Gate, Spaceport and Buried City. Each one needs a different salvaged ARC part: a Snitch Scanner, Surveyor Vault or Sentinel Firing Core. The biggest problem isn’t finding an enemy to shoot. It’s getting the right component to the right rooftop, especially when the Launch Towers aren’t open as normal.
You can complete Wires Crossed over separate raids, so there’s no reason to carry all three components around at once. Gather whichever parts you can, move them into your stash if necessary and deploy with the one you need next. Here’s where to find every component, how to reach the antennas and what Celeste gives you for finishing.
ARC Raiders Wires Crossed : quest objectives and required parts
Celeste gives you Wires Crossed after Exploring Pendola Pass. The mission has three installations, one on each of these maps:
| Map | Required part | Antenna |
|---|---|---|
| The Blue Gate | Snitch Scanner | Pilgrim’s Peak |
| Spaceport | Surveyor Vault | Launch Towers |
| Buried City | Sentinel Firing Core | Grandioso Apartments |
There’s no fixed kill count and the parts don’t need to be freshly salvaged after accepting the quest. If you’ve already got one in storage, bring it. Each Wires Crossed installation is recorded separately, so progress isn’t lost just because you extract or return on another raid. An augment with a Safe Pocket is worth using when collecting components you’d rather not lose on the way back.
How to get a Snitch Scanner for Wires Crossed
The Snitch Scanner comes from a destroyed Snitch, the small flying scout ARC that calls other machines when it detects you. Snitches patrol parts of The Blue Gate, including around Pilgrim’s Peak, Ancient Fort, Barren Clearing and Checkpoint. Shoot one before its alarm brings company, then search the remains for the scanner.
If you’re already on The Blue Gate and find a scanner, you can head straight for Pilgrim’s Peak rather than extracting first. Alternatively, bank the part and return with a lower-risk loadout. Wires Crossed only checks that you’re carrying a scanner when you use the antenna. You don’t have to bring a Surveyor Vault or Sentinel Firing Core to this map.

Where to attach the Snitch Scanner at Pilgrim’s Peak
On The Blue Gate, Pilgrim’s Peak sits towards the northeastern end of the map. Make for the large main tower and look for a zipline on the structure’s eastern side. Ride it to the upper walkway, near the level overlooking the Prefab Hatch extraction area.
- Enter Pilgrim’s Peak with a Snitch Scanner in your inventory.
- Use the eastern tower zipline to reach the elevated walkway.
- Approach the antenna on that level.
- Select Attach ARC Part and wait for the tracker to update.
If you’re standing at the base of the tower and can’t see the prompt, you haven’t reached the installation point. Climb to the upper section and look around the walkway. Once the scanner is fitted, this part of Wires Crossed is finished and you can extract without performing another interaction.
How to get a Surveyor Vault for ARC Raiders Wires Crossed
Surveyors are the moving ARC machines that project a tall blue beam into the sky. On Spaceport, check the surroundings of Launch Towers, Vehicle Maintenance, West Hangar and North Trench Tower. The beam helps you spot one from a distance, although patrol locations can change between rounds.
Destroy a Surveyor and loot its wreckage for a Surveyor Vault. It’s a tougher fight than dealing with a Snitch, so bring ammunition or explosives suited to larger machines. Surveyor Vaults can also appear in ARC Couriers. If you’ve found one while scavenging, there’s no requirement to fight a Surveyor just for this quest.
Spaceport Launch Towers: where to attach the Surveyor Vault
With the Surveyor Vault ready, deploy to Spaceport and head for the Launch Towers near the middle of the map. The quest antenna is at the top of the northwestern tower. Go inside through a side entrance and locate the vertical zipline, then follow the gantry and exterior stairway towards the upper platform.
- Enter the Launch Towers carrying a Surveyor Vault.
- Use the interior zipline to reach the higher floors.
- Continue upstairs to the top of the northwest-side tower.
- Find the antenna and choose Attach ARC Part.
One detail matters here: during the Launch Tower Loot map condition, access can change. The usual ziplines may be locked and reaching the rooftop can require the event’s Fuel Cell process. If you’re only trying to finish Wires Crossed, return under normal Spaceport conditions rather than fighting your way through a separate event.
Don’t place the vault at the first antenna you spot elsewhere in Spaceport. The required one is on the Launch Towers’ northwest upper section. Check your quest tracker before descending; when it confirms the installation, you’re free to move on.
How to get a Sentinel Firing Core for Wires Crossed
A Sentinel Firing Core comes from a destroyed Sentinel, the stationary ARC turret that fires from walls and elevated structures. Buried City’s rooftops and tall buildings are good places to look. Areas around Town Hall, Galleria and Piazza Arbusto are possible patrol positions, but an enemy isn’t guaranteed at any single rooftop during every round.
Fight a Sentinel from cover and watch for its exposed bright component around the swivel arm. After destroying the machine, search the debris for the core. As with the Surveyor Vault, ARC Couriers may also contain a suitable part. The Wires Crossed objective is about installing the core, so it’s fine to use one that was collected earlier.

Buried City: Grandioso Apartments rooftop antenna
The final antenna is at the Grandioso Apartments in Buried City, between the Abandoned Highway Camp and Maintenance Depot. The apartment complex has multiple levels and rooftops. Instead of heading straight for its highest roof, look for the shorter building on the southern side.
- Bring the Sentinel Firing Core to Grandioso Apartments.
- Enter the building and use the central vertical zipline.
- Continue up the interior stairs until you reach the rooftop.
- Look along the edge of the shorter southern rooftop, around its northeastern corner.
- Approach the antenna and select Attach ARC Part.
The placement point is close to the roof edge, so if you’re exploring the highest part of the whole apartment complex and can’t find it, you’ve likely climbed too far. Go back towards the shorter southern structure and check the exterior edge. Once this interaction registers, the final Wires Crossed antenna is done.
Best order to complete ARC Raiders Wires Crossed
You can’t visit all three antennas during the same raid, because they’re on separate maps. Start with any component you already own. If your stash is empty, hunting a Snitch on The Blue Gate is a manageable first job, then you can deal with the more demanding Surveyor or Sentinel salvage trips.
Avoid mixing the parts up when setting your loadout: Scanner for Blue Gate, Vault for Spaceport, Core for Buried City. It’s much easier to remember the map-and-item pairs than to carry everything around. If Spaceport’s Launch Tower Loot event is running, leave that installation until the normal route is available and work on another Wires Crossed objective instead.
Remember to protect each salvaged part before extracting. If you lose it on the way back and haven’t installed it yet, you’ll need another. When the part is already attached, however, the completed objective stays checked and there’s no need to revisit that antenna.
ARC Raiders Wires Crossed: quest rewards and next mission
Return to Celeste in Speranza once all three antennas are installed, open her quest menu and claim the rewards. The Wires Crossed completion payout is:
- 8,000 XP
- 3 Electrical Components
- 1 Renegade I battle rifle
- 2 Ziplines
- 2 Crash Mats
The Renegade I is a medium-ammo rifle; the Ziplines and Crash Mats are helpful when you’re navigating exposed high ground. Finishing Wires Crossed also unlocks Ruins and Reverberations in Celeste’s questline. If you haven’t unlocked it yet, start with our Exploring Pendola Pass walkthrough.
Why Wires Crossed isn’t progressing
No prompt at Pilgrim’s Peak? Reach the upper tower walkway by zipline, then check that you’re carrying a Snitch Scanner. Standing underneath the antenna or holding a different component won’t complete this objective.
Spaceport tower zipline locked? Check the map condition. Launch Tower Loot can change access to the roof, so another Spaceport deployment under normal conditions may be easier.
Can’t find the Grandioso antenna? Try the shorter southern rooftop rather than the highest building, and look near the roof edge. You must have a Sentinel Firing Core to complete this installation.
All three fitted but no rewards? The Wires Crossed tracker may already show success, but you still need to return to Celeste’s quest menu in Speranza and claim the completed mission.
