Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 Balance Changes: All 13 Hero Buffs and Nerfs

Marvel Rivals Infinity Finale

Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 Balance Changes arrived on October 9, 2026, affecting 13 heroes. Iron Man’s Micro-Missiles now track opponents, Gorr has several damage reductions, Phoenix hits harder but loses her direct Spark healing, and Jubilee gains more sustain. The patch also changes several Team-Ups, so not every buff applies unless the right partners are together.

NetEase split the detailed hero adjustments from its general Season 10.5 patch notes. If you want to know whether your character was buffed or nerfed, the before-and-after values below cover every Vanguard, Duelist and Strategist included in the dedicated balance post.

Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 Balance Changes: Vanguard buffs and nerfs

Devil Dinosaur and Hulk

Devil Dinosaur loses 25 base health, falling from 850 to 825. Hulk gets faster Banner Gamma Ray Gun projectiles, 80 to 120 m/s, and gains 100 instead of 50 gamma energy when his grenade hits himself.

With Wolverine’s Team-Up, Hulk’s Furious attack-speed and movement-speed bonuses each increase 20% to 25%. Unstoppable’s health trigger rises 300 to 400, and its cooldown falls 60 to 45 seconds. These Team-Up adjustments only apply with Wolverine selected.

Magneto and The Thing

Magneto’s Emma Frost Team-Up magnetic projection increases from 45% to 50% damage and lasts six rather than five seconds. The Thing’s Invisible Woman Team-Up reduces Unbreakable Forces cooldown from 20 to 15 seconds and lowers the damage needed to trigger enhanced healing from 150 to 125.

Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 Balance Changes: all Duelist adjustments

Cyclops

Optic Blast damage increases 22 to 23, with Ricochet Force cooldown reduction growing 0.25 to 0.3 seconds per hit. Ruby Rage Ultimate now costs 3,400 instead of 3,700 energy. Gambit’s Team-Up makes Kinetic Kin last eight instead of six seconds.

Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 Balance Changes: Gorr the God Butcher

Shadow Scythe base damage drops 55 to 50, retaining the 2% target maximum health component. Shockwave falls 60 to 55. Twilight of the Gods lasts 10 instead of 12 seconds. Living Abyss cooldown improves 15 to 12 seconds, while movement speed during it falls 13 to 10 m/s.

Hawkeye

Piercing Arrow speed range improves 130–195 to 140–210 m/s. Crescent Slash has shorter recovery and Hypersonic Arrow initial-hit width grows three to five metres. Psylocke’s Team-Up raises Psionic Arrow damage 32 to 33. Cloak & Dagger’s Moonlit Slash Team-Up grants self-healing equal to the healing dealt.

Iron Man

Micro-Missile Barrage now tracks nearby targets, with up to five missiles locking onto one enemy. Each missile deals 10 rather than 20 damage, while speed improves 15 to 60 m/s. Armor Overdrive missiles also track enemies ahead, with damage reduced 15 to 10 and the same five-lock limit.

The Thor Team-Up improves Unibeam outer-ring damage 70 to 80 per second, and enhanced Thunder Overdrive damage 85 to 90 per second. The Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 Balance Changes make missiles easier to land, but don’t give every missile a straight damage increase.

Phoenix

Cosmic Flames damage increases 60 to 65. Spark detonation direct damage goes 40 to 45 and explosion damage 15 to 20. The Spark self-heal is removed, replaced by five Bonus Health for four seconds, capped at 25. Endsong Inferno now applies two Sparks instead of one. Hela Team-Up cooldown drops 12 to 10 seconds.

Scarlet Witch

Chthonian Burst area damage decreases 40 to 35. NetEase does not list any other Wanda changes in this balance pass. Her September rework is separate from the Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 Balance Changes released in October.

Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 Balance Changes: Strategist buffs and nerfs

Adam Warlock

With Ultron’s Team-Up, Cosmic Cluster healing improves 16 to 18 and the enhanced healing explosion improves five to seven. These are conditional on the Team-Up, not baseline healing changes.

Gambit

Healing Hearts and Breaking Spades charge a stack in seven instead of eight seconds. Ragin’ Royal Flush target range shrinks 40 to 30 metres, with its extra jump boost falling 500 to 300. Jubilee’s Team-Up extends Sparkling Staff 1.5 to two seconds.

Jubilee

Sparking Sprint now provides 25 health per second to Jubilee. Dazzling Detonation’s blind decreases 1.5 to 0.8 seconds. Blade’s Team-Up gives allies around her 15 healing per second for six seconds during Vampiric Kin, and Firework Finale heals 180 rather than 150 health per second.

Which Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 Balance Changes are most noticeable?

Iron Man is the biggest mechanical change, swapping higher raw missile damage for automatic target tracking. Phoenix becomes more aggressive but must manage temporary Bonus Health instead of her previous Spark healing. Jubilee’s mobility sustain is stronger, though the shorter blind reduces how long she can control an enemy.

Gorr loses the most direct damage and Ultimate duration, while Cyclops gains faster cooldown recovery and a cheaper Ultimate. The Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 Balance Changes also improve Hulk and several Team-Up interactions. Always check whether the hero listed needs a named partner before treating a bonus as permanent.

When did the Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 Balance Changes take effect?

The Season 10.5 update started October 9 at 09:00 UTC, with roughly two hours of planned maintenance. It also adds Infinity War 2v2, Infinity Finale and Angela Twitch Drops. Those events have separate reward requirements.

The numbers above cover all 13 heroes in the official Marvel Rivals Season 10.5 Balance Changes announcement. Check your usual hero and Team-Up rather than assuming every character got a damage buff or that the general update post contains the full balance table.
