Forza Horizon 6 Wristbands: All 7 Wristbands and How to Unlock Them

forza horizon 6 horizon meets official scaled

Forza Horizon 6 Wristbands are the backbone of the structured Horizon Festival campaign, but they are only one of several progression systems running at the same time. Discover Japan uses Stamps, Horizon Play has its own levels, and normal player level continues separately, so it is possible to make progress in one area without moving the Wristband meter very far. Knowing which activities feed the Festival path makes the campaign much easier to read.

The seven Forza Horizon 6 Wristbands also control access to increasingly demanding Festival events and faster car themes rather than acting as simple cosmetic ranks. Each stage asks you to earn Horizon Festival progress and then complete a dedicated Wristband Event before the next colour is awarded. The final Gold Wristband is the gateway to Horizon Legend status and Legend Island, making the sequence much more important than an achievement checklist.

The seven Forza Horizon 6 Wristbands are Yellow, Green, Blue, Pink, Orange, Purple and Gold. The official achievement list confirms the full colour sequence, with Gold marking Horizon Legend. The colours represent Festival progression rather than Discover Japan Stamp progress, which uses a parallel seven-stage exploration path. If your Journal is advancing but the Wristband is not, check whether the activities you are doing award Horizon Festival Points.

How to unlock the Yellow Wristband

The first major step in Forza Horizon 6 Wristbands is joining the Festival. Complete the Horizon Qualifiers to earn enough Horizon Festival Points for the Horizon Invitational, then finish that Invitational Wristband Event. Yellow officially makes you part of the Horizon Festival, unlocks the Festival Playlist and expands the structured campaign. Before Yellow, the game deliberately limits which car classes can be used in Festival events.

How later Wristbands unlock

After Yellow, Forza Horizon 6 Wristbands follow the same broad rhythm: complete Festival races and activities such as PR Stunts and Skills, fill the progress toward the next rank, then beat the newly available Wristband Event. Playground Games uses both Showcase Events and Horizon Rush obstacle challenges for these promotion moments. Merely filling the meter is not enough if the final promotion event is still sitting unfinished on the map.

Green, Blue and Pink progression

The middle Forza Horizon 6 Wristbands gradually open more Festival events and car themes as you move through Green, Blue and Pink. Playground Games does not reduce the campaign to one mandatory race list, so you can choose from available Road, Dirt, Cross Country and supporting activities to build progress. If one event type is giving you trouble, move to another source of Festival Points and return once you have a better car or more practice.

Orange and Purple progression

Orange and Purple are late-game Forza Horizon 6 Wristbands where faster car themes become increasingly relevant. Playground Games specifically states that Hypercars cannot be used in structured Festival races until at least the Purple Wristband. That is a useful reference point if a powerful car seems unavailable for an event. Discover Japan activities can still let you enjoy faster cars outside those Festival restrictions while you work toward the next promotion.

Using Horizon Play to help Wristband progress

Multiplayer can contribute to Forza Horizon 6 Wristbands without replacing the campaign. Each Horizon Play level up to Level 25 grants Horizon Festival Points toward the next Wristband, so players who prefer Spec Racing, Hide and Seek or other online modes have another path to progress. After Level 25, Horizon Play keeps its own levelling system, but those early ranks are a useful supplement when you are close to unlocking the next Wristband Event.

Gold Wristband and Horizon Legend

The final target for Forza Horizon 6 Wristbands is Gold. Obtaining all seven Festival Wristbands makes you a Horizon Legend and grants access to Legend Island, where Playground Games places special endgame activities including the Legend Island Circuit and the Colossus. Gold is therefore a functional campaign unlock, not merely a colour change. The achievement list also awards the 50 Gamerscore Horizon Legend achievement for reaching it.

What Wristbands do not unlock

Do not confuse Forza Horizon 6 Wristbands with Discover Japan rewards. Barn Find rumours, additional Player Houses and the Estate are tied to Stamps and Collection Journal exploration, not the Wristband colour sequence. Treasure Cars also come from exploration clues. The systems overlap inside the same Journal, but separating Festival progression from Discover Japan prevents a lot of unnecessary grinding when the reward you want actually belongs to the other path.
