Pokémon TCG Live Delta Reign Build and Battle runs from 5 November to 19 November 2026, opening and closing at 5 PM GMT. It starts alongside the digital expansion and awards a free play when the event begins, followed by another free play each week if you’ve used the previous one.

Unlike the daily free entries in October’s Perfect Order rotation, Delta Reign gives you a free run at launch and another each week. Unused free plays don’t stack. Use yours before the next one is due or you’ll miss an opportunity to try another deck.

The Pokémon TCG Live Delta Reign Build and Battle event starts Thursday, 5 November at 17:00 GMT and ends Thursday, 19 November at 17:00 GMT. Pokémon’s official schedule places it between the existing Perfect Order event and another Phantasmal Flames rotation.

Rotation Start End Free plays
Perfect Order 22 Oct, 6 PM BST 5 Nov, 5 PM GMT Daily
Delta Reign 5 Nov, 5 PM GMT 19 Nov, 5 PM GMT At launch, then weekly
Phantasmal Flames 19 Nov, 5 PM GMT 3 Dec, 5 PM GMT At launch, then weekly

This is an event inside the Pokémon TCG Live app, not an in-store Prerelease. Physical Delta Reign cards launch on 6 November, a day after the online event. The Pokémon TCG Live Delta Reign Build and Battle rotation uses the game’s existing limited-format rules.

How to claim weekly Build & Battle free plays

Pokémon says the Pokémon TCG Live Delta Reign Build and Battle gives players a free entry at the start of the rotation, then once a week thereafter. But a new free entry can only be granted after the earlier free play has been used. Saving it doesn’t produce a larger allowance later in the event.

Use the free play when it appears if you want as many chances as possible to test seed decks. The mode saves progress during a run, so you can return to finish later. Watch the event countdown, though, because unfinished runs still have to fit within the rotation window.

How a 40-card Build & Battle run works

Each Pokémon TCG Live Delta Reign Build and Battle run starts with a randomized 40-card seed deck and four booster packs. You may change your deck using cards from those packs, then battle through a run of five games, each played with four Prize cards. You can edit your limited deck between battles.

You’re not bringing your usual Ranked deck here. Look at your seed deck’s main attackers and make sure the Energy in your pool can power them. A rare card isn’t much use if you can’t reliably get it into play.

Event Tokens, prize pools and forfeits

If you don’t have a free play available, Pokémon TCG Live Delta Reign Build and Battle follows the normal Event Token system. Most Build & Battle events use one Event Token for entry. Tokens may come from the Shop, promotions, eligible physical code cards or the mode itself.

Wins and losses add rewards to a pool collected after the run. You keep your Build & Battle Box cards. Battle Pass experience and quest progress can register during play, which is useful during the Delta Reign Battle Pass even if your seed deck doesn’t win every match.

Forfeiting doesn’t refund the entry. You can stop a run early and receive rewards you’ve earned, but the free play or Event Token spent is gone. Build & Battle matchmaking also uses its own rating, separate from normal Ranked and Casual Elo.

When is the last entry for Delta Reign?

The Pokémon TCG Live Delta Reign Build and Battle event ends on 19 November at 5 PM GMT. Pokémon’s general rules prevent starting new runs in the final hour, but the Delta Reign row of the published schedule contains a contradictory entry-cutoff date. Don’t rely on that row’s cutoff without a correction or confirmation from the live client.

It’s worth entering before the final afternoon rather than leaving your free play until the last minute. The event ends on 19 November at 5 PM GMT. Pokémon’s general rules close entry an hour before an event ends, but the date printed in this particular event’s cutoff row conflicts with its schedule. Follow the live event countdown for the final entry window.

Pokémon TCG Live Delta Reign Build and Battle FAQ

Is there a free play every day?

No. This Delta Reign event awards a free play at launch and then weekly, unlike the previous daily Perfect Order schedule.

Do unused free plays stack?

No. Use the current free play before expecting to receive another one.
