Brawl Stars Find Gus Skull Key is hidden behind the portrait on the right wall of the Phase 2 Hallway. The portrait falls after you repair the radio, tune station 5 and complete Damian’s next reaction with the screwdriver.

The skull key does not open the colour safe under the radio and it does not solve the old locked box from the Entrance. Its only required use in the Hallway is the small safe inside the tall right-hand closet, which contains Shade’s cymbals.

If the portrait is already on the floor, look at the wall position where it was hanging rather than searching the floor for a loose key.

Brawl Stars Find Gus Skull Key: What has to happen before the skull key appears

The Hallway is state-based. You cannot jump straight to the portrait. Complete the jack-in-the-box and closet scare sequence, install the pendulum, solve the clock at 12:00 and collect the antenna first.

Put the antenna on the radio and tighten it with the screwdriver. The correct radio station is 5.

Tune to station 5 and continue the radio interaction until Damian reacts. Use the screwdriver on Damian for this scare.

That reaction causes the portrait on the right wall to fall and exposes the skull-shaped key behind it.

Open the tall closet on the right and look for the small safe inside. Drag the skull key onto that safe.

The safe opens to reveal two cymbal pieces. Take both and drag them onto Shade.

After Shade has the cymbals, tap him repeatedly to wind him up. That triggers the final Hallway scare and Damian leaves through the window.

Advance the final dialogue and claim the Chaos Drop to mark the Hallway complete.

Do not use the skull key on the Damian Pin safe

The colour safe beneath the radio is a completely different puzzle. It does not use a physical key.

Is this the key for the old right chest?

No. The unresolved right-side chest in the October 1 Entrance is separate. The Hallway skull key belongs to the closet safe and should not be saved for an earlier-room lock.

• The antenna has been placed but not tightened with the screwdriver.
• The radio is not on station 5.
• Damian’s station 5 reaction has not been completed with the screwdriver.
• You are looking on the floor instead of behind the fallen portrait.
• You are in the Entrance room rather than the Hallway.

Solve the Hallway through the clock, take the antenna, repair the radio, tune station 5 and use the screwdriver on Damian. Then collect the key behind the fallen portrait and open the closet safe.
