Resident Evil Village is almost here and Capcom are giving players a chance to try out the game ahead of the launch later this week with a brand new demo.

Unfortunately, the demo has a timer on it and will lock after one hour of play time.

But, many of us would like to play the demo for more than an hour, really deep diving into the game and learning every aspect of it ahead of its release.

Here is how to remove the timer and play the Resident Evil Village demo for as long as you’d like.

How To Remove The Timer From The Resident Evil Village Demo

It is worth noting that this only works on the PC version of the demo, PlayStation and Xbox players will only be able to play for one hour, but you could make a new account on your console and play the demo again.

PC users are able to remove the timer completely though and play time and time again without having to make a new account.

To do this, first download the Resident Evil Village demo from Steam, which can be found here.

Then, download this trainer from Fling Trainers by clicking here.

When you launch the demo, also open the trainer and press 0 on your Num Pad to disable the timer, this will stop the time increasing so you can keep on playing.

The trainer also comes with the ability to activate infinite ammo, health etc.

We’re unsure whether the trainer will also work on the full release of the game, if you want to play with infinite health and ammo, but we imagine a new trainer for the full game won’t be too far behind the games release.

Release Date

Resident Evil Village launches worldwide on Friday, May 7th 2021.

Platforms

Resident Evil Village will be available on PC via Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Google Stadia.

The next-gen versions will be dedicated versions of the game, rather than using backwards compatibility, and will offer up to 60fps with ray tracing.

PC players will also be able to play the game at up to 4K/60 depending on their hardware.
