PokéXciting Pikachu Turquoise Location Background
One of the most notable versions of PokéXciting Pikachu Turquoise Pokémon GO comes with a Kuala Lumpur Location Background.
The Location Background is available from GO Stamp Rally encounters tied to Kuala Lumpur.
There are two relevant Stamp Rally activities.
The wider cross-region PokéXciting Stamp Rally includes a Kuala Lumpur stamp at KLCC Park. Collecting the Kuala Lumpur stamp rewards an encounter with PokéXciting Pikachu Turquoise featuring the local Location Background.
A separate KLCC Park Stamp Rally also rewards PokéXciting Pikachu Turquoise with the Kuala Lumpur Location Background after all five local stamps have been collected.
PokéXciting Kuala Lumpur GO Stamp Rally
The Kuala Lumpur Stamp Rally contains five Pokémon-themed stamps:
- Bulbasaur
- Charmander
- Squirtle
- Pikachu
- Vileplume
Collecting all five stamps rewards a PokéXciting Pikachu Turquoise Pokémon GO encounter with the Kuala Lumpur Location Background.
The KLCC Park Stamp Rally remains available for one month after the main September 12–13 event.
This gives Trainers additional time to complete the local stamp collection even if they are unable to finish it during the event weekend.
Cross-Region PokéXciting Stamp Rally
PokéXciting Pikachu Turquoise is also connected to the wider PokéXciting Stamp Rally running across the participating anniversary event cities.
The Kuala Lumpur PokéStop is located at KLCC Park in front of the Esplanade.
Collecting the Kuala Lumpur stamp rewards a PokéXciting Pikachu Turquoise encounter with the local Location Background.
The cross-region Stamp Rally also includes other PokéXciting locations, each associated with its own regional Pikachu colour.
Where to Find PokéXciting Pikachu Turquoise in the Wild
PokéXciting Pikachu Turquoise Pokémon GO appears as a wild encounter during the Kuala Lumpur event.
The main event runs on September 12 and 13, but turquoise Pikachu continues appearing in Kuala Lumpur for one month afterwards.
That extended availability means Trainers do not have to rely entirely on Stamp Rally encounters to collect the costume.
Wild PokéXciting Pikachu Turquoise can also potentially be Shiny.
Is PokéXciting Pikachu Turquoise Exclusive to Kuala Lumpur?
Yes. The turquoise PokéXciting Pikachu costume is associated with Kuala Lumpur.
The wider PokéXciting celebration uses different Pikachu colours for participating cities, making each regional costume a separate collectible.
Trainers wanting PokéXciting Pikachu Turquoise Pokémon GO therefore need access to the Kuala Lumpur event area or the extended Kuala Lumpur availability period.
The turquoise version is not announced as a worldwide spawn.
How Long Is PokéXciting Pikachu Turquoise Available?
The main PokéXciting Kuala Lumpur event takes place on:

Is PokéXciting Pikachu Turquoise Different From Regular Pikachu?
PokéXciting Pikachu Turquoise uses Pikachu’s normal Electric typing and base stats.
The difference is its special turquoise anniversary costume and the availability of a Kuala Lumpur Location Background on specific Stamp Rally encounters.
That means its weaknesses, resistances and general battle characteristics remain the same as standard Pikachu.
The main value of PokéXciting Pikachu Turquoise Pokémon GO is therefore as a limited regional costume collectible rather than a separate battle form.
Can PokéXciting Pikachu Turquoise Have a Location Background and Be Shiny?
PokéXciting Pikachu Turquoise is Shiny eligible, while the Stamp Rally encounters are confirmed to include the Kuala Lumpur Location Background.
The two features are part of the same event encounter pool, making the Stamp Rally versions particularly desirable for costume and Location Background collectors.
A Shiny encounter is not guaranteed.
Other Pokémon During PokéXciting Kuala Lumpur
PokéXciting Pikachu Turquoise appears alongside a large collection of costume and Shiny-eligible Pokémon during the Kuala Lumpur event.
Wild encounters include Party Hat Bulbasaur, Party Hat Charmander, Party Hat Squirtle, Party Hat Raticate, Ribbon Jigglypuff, Party Hat Grimer and Party Hat Eevee.
The event also features Unown M and Unown Y through Incense and Gigantamax Battles against Venusaur, Charizard and Blastoise.
For Pikachu collectors, however, PokéXciting Pikachu Turquoise Pokémon GO is the main regional target because it combines a new costume colour, Shiny availability and the potential for a Kuala Lumpur Location Background.
