ACE COMBAT 8 General Purpose Upgrade Blueprints now have a daily mission-reward limit of ten, increased from five on November 6, 2026. Bandai Namco confirmed the increase as part of Release Celebration Part 2 and, importantly, the higher limit is permanent rather than a temporary event bonus.
If you’re upgrading your online aircraft, that means you can collect more blueprints through missions each day. It doesn’t mean every sortie now hands you ten of them. Here’s what the change actually affects.
How many ACE COMBAT 8 General Purpose Upgrade Blueprints can you earn a day?
The maximum number of ACE COMBAT 8 General Purpose Upgrade Blueprints obtainable as mission rewards in a day is ten. Before November 6, that cap was five. Bandai Namco says the increase remains in effect after Release Celebration Part 2 finishes, so it isn’t a bonus you need to race to use before December 1.
The limit applies to the total you can receive as mission rewards across a day, not the amount from a single sortie. Check your post-mission results to see what you earned.

How to earn ACE COMBAT 8 General Purpose Upgrade Blueprints from missions
The published notice links the increased cap specifically to mission rewards in ACE COMBAT ONLINE. To use that higher allowance, play the online missions available to you and check the rewards at the end of a run. If you used to stop playing after reaching the old five-per-day limit, there’s now room to earn more.
ACE COMBAT ONLINE has its own progression and save data separate from the Campaign. It features cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes, with rewards and aircraft upgrades forming part of the online loop. Our online progression guide goes through that system.
Bandai Namco hasn’t published a daily reset time or a mode-by-mode drop table in the event notice. For planning your next run, the reward information in-game is more useful than an assumed reset schedule.
Are ACE COMBAT 8 General Purpose Upgrade Blueprints part of the 100,000 ZOLL event?
The higher cap arrived alongside Release Celebration Part 2, but it is not the same reward as the chance to earn 100,000 ZOLL. The ZOLL opportunity comes from limited-time CHALLENGES. Exact objectives and reward amounts are shown on the in-game CHALLENGE screen, not in the official announcement.
Those challenges run from November 6 to December 1, whereas the higher daily blueprint allowance lasts beyond that deadline. The separate Emergency Sortie appearance-rate boost ends on November 16. Of the three changes, the ten-blueprint cap is the one that stays.
What do ACE COMBAT 8 General Purpose Upgrade Blueprints help with?
ACE COMBAT 8 General Purpose Upgrade Blueprints are connected to online upgrading and progression, not the paid ACE COINS shop. ACE COMBAT ONLINE lets players collect aircraft, improve their equipment and work through rewards over time. For the wider upgrade route, see our Aircraft Tree guide. The upgrade screen in your game shows the actual material requirements for the aircraft you’re working on.
The number of blueprints you’re allowed to earn has changed, but Bandai Namco hasn’t announced lower upgrade costs. Before spending, check the requirements on the aircraft you actually want to level.
Blueprints, ZOLL and the Premium Ace Pass
ZOLL, blueprints and ACE PASS rewards serve different purposes. ZOLL is an in-game currency, while blueprints are used in aircraft upgrading. The free and paid ACE PASS tracks can also award blueprints, but the November increase specifically concerns blueprints earned from missions, not a doubling of ACE PASS rewards.
For now, focus on completing online missions for blueprints and check the CHALLENGE screen separately for the timed ZOLL rewards. You can use our currency guide to check which rewards and shops you’re dealing with.
Does the ACE COMBAT 8 General Purpose Upgrade Blueprints limit go back to five?
No. The publisher says the cap stays at ten after December 1. There’s no need to cram in extra sorties just to beat the event deadline: the higher daily limit will still be there.
